I think it ends up:

1. Boston
2. Cleveland
3. Bucks
4. Knicks
5. Pacers
6. Sixers
7. Heat
8. Magic

I think Embiid's knee (s) are in bad shape. Miami seems to enjoy underachieving but might just be a bad team in general. Cavs now healthy are really good.

A Bucks-Sixers first round matchup would be wild.

I've been wanting to see them match up in the playoffs for like the last 5 years.

With them #2/#3 for most of this year, I thought we're finally going to see it, until recently.

But now a 2/7 or 3/6 first round match-up gives me hope again.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Yeah I ain't gonna look past Miami. Not until they're beaten into oblivion in the playoffs. Who knows, Jimmy Buckets might decide to wake up. Or Robinson or other guys play like Michael Jordan egery playoff game.

This might be best case scenario for the C's. Magic have cooled off and I'm not worried at all about any other potential 8 seed (CHI/TOR/BKN). Avoid all of MIA/MIL/PHI until ECF. Yeah a 2nd round matchup against any of IND/CLE/NYK isn't "easy" but pick your poison, I'd still much rather that than face any of MIA/MIL/PHI earlier. In the meantime, PHI-MIL beat each other up and maybe a team upsets Miami along the way.

I see it’s time for the once every 2 years PED suspension.  I believe Thompson is the 12th player suspended since the introduction of the policy in the early 2000s.

Weird that no stars have ever been suspended.  I guess the NBA just runs a really clean program.

not really, the way it works is that the players who get the "good stuff" can't be detected, are ahead of the tests....the few who take the cheap stuff are being caught sometimes

it's prevalent

Randle to be reevaluated in 2-3 weeks, meaning he’s almost certainly not going to play in the All Star Game if he makes it tonight. Opens up the possibility of Zinger making it even higher.

Bucks better hope they avoid the pacers in round one. But I do not see them getting the ECF. Just play slow. No defense and they look old.

Middleton looks cooked.

Yeah, it is sad watching Middleton right now. Such a good player and always played two-way team orientated ball. Sorry to see him in this state.

The Memphis Grizzlies are trading Steven Adams to the Houston Rockets for Victor Oladipo and three second-round picks, sources tell ESPN.

Wow, that's not the type of move I expect to see Memphis making. It makes me wonder if they want to go with a more switchable defender at the Center spot... Maybe we see them go after Timelord? Smart, JJJ, and Timelord would form quite the defensive lineup (but I don't think they could score enough to make things matter)
I'm bitter.

Wow, Embiid has a torn meniscus. Timetable for treatment hasn't been decided yet.

Was just getting ready to post this.

Crazy. With a torn meniscus, that's at least most of the rest of the season, right?
