Marc Gasol announce his retirement (thought he already was) after playing in Spain..is he a first ballot HOF??

He deserves to be in the hall of fame. The complete resume is impressive.  I don't know about first ballot, though.

Ben Simmons finally returned from injury on Monday and now he's out tonight with a knee contusion.

This guy really is trolling the entire league right now. He's probably already met his quota for games and is done for the year again  :P

Old friend Gallo is having himself quite a game for Detroit. 14 points in 10 minutes so far. Maybe he does have something left in the tank.

Perkins says the Sixers should shut Embiid down for the season. Lol what an absolute idiot Perk is. It's also funny to me that outside of ESPN, it seems most former teammates/coaches of his hate him

A HOFer, is a HOFer.  If he is worthy vote him in when he is eligible.

I agree — the first ballot, second ballot, etc. stuff is nonsensical.

And I don’t think Marc Gasol is Hall worthy. Only 3 all-star selections, 2 all-NBA, career averages of 14 points and 7.4 rebounds. Solid career but not an all-time great.

Edit: I forgot about his pre-NBA stuff. So maybe he should be in based on his whole body of work, but definitely not based on his NBA play alone.

It's going to be downright hilarious if Portland ends up spoiling Dame's return.

Is it my impression or have the Bucks gotten worse since Doc took over?

The lakers and bucks have basically the same issue, terrible backcourt defense. Beasley and Lilliard may be the only duo as bad ans Russell and Reaves. Giannis is a lot more consistent than Davis or Lebron at this stage of his career but hard to see either team turning it around without better perimeter defense.

Ayton may be the single most infuriating player in the league to me.  I still honestly believe there’s a 24/12 guy in there somewhere, without any major changes to the skillset.  Just the motor.

Alas.

My God Ayton is soft. What a waste of talent and size due to poor work ethic and character.

Not watching the game but to be fair, he’s got 20/11 with 2 stocks

That's my problem with him!  He was abusing Lopez, an above average defender, for a large part of that fourth quarter.  Scoring at will.  He has the tools.  He just doesn't care most nights.
