What has changed from his committment earlier?
If Kyrie sits tonight or Sunday, he's gone.
As I've always said, the team plays freely and better without Kyrie. He seems like a poor leader to me.
All he had to do was say..."I have already stated my position and where I want to be." These stories are bogus.
As I mentioned before, how can we rule out the potential that Danny Ainge is fine with Kyrie playing into the media circus? DA likes to dismiss the gossip, but we all know he will try to control the public narrative whenever he has a chance. He loves this stuff.
TP. I don't think that this is part of a DA media conspiracy, but he's like the anti-Belichick, He likes having this stuff out there to throw off his competitors. When was the last time that one of DA's "fireworks" moves was actually consummated? We all had Okafor or George or somebody coming to Boston as part of a trade rumor. Nobody predicted Kyrie coming. Danny is the king of misinformation.
Here's the video, btw. It's short:
http://www.espn.com/videohub/video/clip?id=25900707I am definitely upset about the comment, especially since it makes New Orleans that much less likely to wait around for us, but it's pretty clear by the end that Kyrie simply sick of the questions. He won't even look at the reporters.
I'd rather he hadn't said it, but I don't feel as negative as I did back on page 1.
We're going to have an answer within a week. If AD is still on the Pels, the chances that he's leaving go down a lot.
