The Clips don't even somewhat try to involve Deandre in the offense. What the heck was he thinking staying on this team.

They told him they would, and totally lied to him, mainly Doc did. He should be asking for a trade by now.

Yeah haven't been too impressed with Doc these last few seasons, from coaching to managerial decisions.

They use him on offense like he's Kendrick Perkins.

Lol...basically yes. He's averaging fewer field goal attempts this season than he has the past 3 seasons. Also Pierce, Lance Stevenson, and Josh Smith are basically being used as 12th men on that team, while Austin Rivers is averaging more field goal attempts than all of them and more than DeAndre. Doc is a horrible coach, and an even worse GM.

Must really suck to have Paul look him off so many times.

I'd be down for buying low on Stephenson

Agreed. Doc overloaded on slow Vets.

D Jordan's body language is terrible. Dude was so locked in last season.

Nets down 18 in 14th. An interesting thing to watch in these games is jack, lopez and johnson's minutes. A normal coach would pull them around 5 minute mark in 20 point game. Hollins just burns them out

This. I firmly believe Stephenson could play Turner's role amazingly. He's much flashier, not as clumsy, and even with ET's defensive improvements, Stephenson when he's on his game, is one of the games best perimeter defenders. He'll probably be cheap this off-season considering he's been a bad fit on his last two teams. Why not?

So in that sense he's a lot like Doc

eeesh might have to eat some very unpleasant crow on this. Behind a very effective hack a jordan they have gone on like a 14-2 run.

Nets only down by 2. I guess that explains the "don't pull the stars" policy.

To be clear, i was not advocating pulling them with 9 minutes left. However, against the Knicks they were in there down 24 with about 3 minutes left. I have seen Hollins do this numerous times.
Especially considering their age, it is down right dumb and begging for injuries.

Edit: They are now down 5  with 28 seconds left. Clippers do have some issues this year for sure. Wouldn't be surprised to see one or multiple of stephenson, smith and pierce traded in the next month.

And the Nets lose and you see why Deandre Jordan doesn't get the ball often.

I'm actually pretty relieved because the Nets have been solid at home this season. It's on the road where they have been atrocious.

Totally understand, wasn't a shot at you. Simply frustration that this Nets team seems to have the singular goal of giving me cardiac arrest.

I can't name more than two or three teams that are worse than these Nets on paper, but they're playing way above grade level. I don't see how an injury or two doesn't begin to wear them down eventually but, until that happens, I'm over my feeling of certainty that they finish among the five bottom teams.
