As long as Atlanta and Chicago lose, I'd still consider tonight a victory for the Celts.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

The big winner in this (aborted?) experiment is TJ McConnell. He essentially got an extended-extended-extended tryout for the NBA.
You can say that about pretty much every player on Philly's roster outside of a couple guys

I would say that about Noel, I think he is a few years away from being Kendrick Perkins.

Noel is washed up.  He was an elite defensive center during his rookie year... now he's an injury prone power forward struggling to defend the perimeter.   He might as well retire.

So Brooklyn has won 4 of their last 6 and has basically been playing .500 for the past month.

Good news is that even if they were to play .500 for the remaining 60 games (which is probably an ambitious expectation given their lack of depth), they'd only finish with 37 wins (right about the same as last year when the made the playoffs).... which thanks to a surprisingly good Eastern Conference this season with several above .500 teams, 37 wins from Brooklyn would still net us a lotto pick... probably even top 10.

Yes, they've eked out wins against the Rockets and Sixers, very impressive. Their next month is an absolute gauntlet.

I think Noel has the talent to learn more...tangible NBA skills. I think he can be a good passer at the very least. He'd look better in a system not made to completely negate his impact.

Next five: home against LAC, Orlando, Miami, Minnesota, away against Indy. That should be good for four losses.

Following five: home against Dallas and Washington, away against Chicago, Miami and Orlando. Also good for four, possibly five, losses.

My prediction early for Nets being truely the worst team , was based on Lopez being played so much he'd be injuried . Lakers not tanking.

So.....looks like he is all healed up,......in that case they could win a bunch of games.....

Is there an ignore button? I know there are rules in place where we are not allowed to say what we truly think. If I could use an ignore button, that problem would be solved.

please define "bunch of" here.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Meh. I still only see them being a 25 win team at most. Good time for the East to have gotten better.

 Also, hi CelticsBlog!

I'm been toying with that idea myself. The nets philly stuff has gotten pretty overbearing
