After todays two picks the Hawks look like this:

PG: Luke Ridnour
SG: JJ Redick
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Anderson Varejao
C:  Mehmet Okur

6th: Elton Brand (C)
7th: Kirk Hinrich (PG/SG)
8th: Ryan Gomes (F)

I looked at all your picks as a bunch and liked all the players.  I don't like the starting frontcourt of Durant, Varejao, and Okur though.  Nobody you can dump the ball down low to in the first quarter for easy offense to save Durant for later, which I'm a big fan of.  I'd probably start Brand over Varejao.  Varejao brings terrific energy off the bench also.

Also, I don't think Ridnour is a starting PG for a championship team.  He doesn't excel at anything except being very serviceable because of a solid bball IQ and is a poor defender.  I'd try to trade Ridnour and Hinrich for a good starting PG and a lesser quality backup guard.  Perhaps to a team who needs a starting PG/SG and could use Ridnour as a backup.  At worst, start Hinrich over Ridnour.

I feel like you will have a somewhat stagnant offense standing around watching Durant?  None of your current starters can really create their own shot.

True or false: this team the New Orleans Buccaneers are the frontrunners to win the SW Division. I'd vote, but I'm biased.

Was that the opening shot, Lucky?

Al Horford has J.J. Hickson walking the plank as we speak.

And Caron Butler looks forward to stealing Eric Gordon's lunch money.

He's going to need to bring friends.

And glasses apparently. I couldn't read much beyond the 2-1 record Caron has head in head to head.

Edit: Hey, neat. You can click on it, and get something legible.

Poor Gordon is terrified of going into the paint vs. Caron. Averaging 6 3 pointers per game? Good thing he made nearly half.

I'll take the 13 points, 9 boards, 4 assists, and nearly 3 steals from Caron though. Nice.

Click on the picture to get a better view of Eric Gordon, Jr.'s 10ppg scoring advantage.

EDIT - What he said.

PG: Darren Collison
SG: OJ Mayo, DeMar DeRozan
SF: Thabo Sefolosha
PF: Jermaine O'Neal, Glen Davis
C: Chris Kaman, Marreese Speights

Really  like my depth now. 4 frontcourt guys who can be depended on. Everyone on this team can defend as well. Mayo may be undersized against some 2 guards but DeRozan has the size to come in and help with that.

Speights is going to blow up this year and we all know what Big Baby brings.

I want baby in his elbow jumper shooting role from 09. He is less effective in the post.

DeRozan will start for Toronto this year. He was super efficient as a rookie and should get even better as he gets a feel for the NBA game. He has the athletic ability to get to the rim and be a 18ppg player. He is also a plus rebounder at his position.

Bumping this because I didnt get much feedback.

Today I made an early trade Marc Gasol for Kaman plus 26 spots in the 6th round.

I then picked up Sefolosha, DeRozan, BBD, and Speights to give my team great depth. I still need a backup PG but I like the balance on my team so far.

I think I might start Speights at the 4...not sure yet. (Thanks for the suggestion IP)

CLEVELAND CAVS after todays picks and trade.

 The BEST BEST team around!!

PG: Mike Conley Jr.
SG: Monta Ellis
SF: Carmelo Anthony-James Posey
PF: Troy Murphy-Jason Thompson
C : Shaq O'Neil-Joel Pryzbila

I thought Conley and Monta would work better than Monta and Caron also Murph is a Dbl Dbl.

Good trade; I really didn't see a Monta/Caron backcourt working.  I like this team offensively.  This team should put up close to 100 per game.  I think working of 'Melo will make Monta more of an efficient offensive player.  I don't like this team defensively.  Your best defenders are bench players who will see most of their playing time against other bench players.  I don't see anybody on your team who is quick enough to guard Kobe or Wade.  I also see this team struggling defending athletic bigs.

Prognosis:  50 wins.

Or else Caron left him wide open. Close out Tough Juice? Gordon couldn't have been too intimidated if he was bodying Butler into 31% shooting and almost 4.5 TOs per.

Not much D or length. Chandler is not the same player otherwise he might be able to make up for the lack of height.

Good shot blocking though. Beasley is the wild card.

Eh, you win some, you lose some.

If I have to, I'll put Afflalo on Gordon.

Would appreciate some feedback on my squad: good, bad, or indifferent:

Head Coach: Jeff Van Gundy
PG: Tony Parker
SG: Caron Butler, Aron Afflalo
SF: Danny Granger, [Butler]
PF: J.J. Hickson
C:  Samuel Dalembert, Zaza Pachulia

True or false: this team is the frontrunner to win the SW Division. I'd vote, but I'm biased.

This team has some toughness defensively but a weak spot at PG.  This is one of those teams that I think "solid" but doesn't overwhelm me.  Very good pg, good SG, very good SF, and 2 bigs who are either best suited coming off the bench (Hickson,Zaza) or in the lesser half of starters (Dalembert).  Afflalo is a guy who is a good starter, but I don't know if he brings that energy off the bench (which Caron can) that I'm a big fan of.  I think I'd rather start Afflalo.

Prognosis:  41-46 wins

The DC Boxers are proud to announce the additions to their bench rotation: combo guard, Leandro Barbosa and small forward, Chase Budinger.

The current DC Boxers lineup:

Starters:

PG: Raymond Felton
SG: Manu Ginobili
SF: Wilson Chandler
PF: Luis Scola
C: Andrew Bynum

Bench Rotation:
C/PF: Udonis Haslem
SF: Chase Budinger
PG/SG: Leandro Barbosa

BTW: Spanish is definitely the second language on this team.
