Yea Brand is definitely the question mark on what type of production I will get.  Even if I can get 15/7 out of him I think that would be pretty good.  But that's why I love my flexability, I can play Brand, Okur and Varejao at center and Brand and Varejao can play PF depending on the matchup.

Also defensive wing and penetration are targets for the upcoming rounds.
He's given 13 and 8 and 13 and 7 in 30 MPG.

Brand is no longer the player he was, he's now a backup C at this point.

I worry about your Cs being Okur/Brand. Both have questionable durability at this point, and are pretty slow.

I'll throw the Celtics on the Block:

PG: Rondo
Sg: Smith-till I draftt the starter
SF: Maggette
PF: Harrington
C: Bogut
My love of Rondo and Bogut's games is offset by the hatred I have for Maggette and Harrington's games. As I said in chat. Smith has a billion dollar shot and body and a two cent brain. Smart move bringing him off the bench in "Microwave" fashion.

I would recommend trying to trade Harrington for a more defensive minded PF. Do that and this team has great playoff potential. Otherwise, I think you are going to catch a lot of flak for having too many of the selfish/head case types on your team with the Maggette, Smith, Harrington combo.

Do you think chemistry will be a problem?

You have some talent but I'm not sure if they're really complementary pieces and can play effective basketball cohesiviely.

Josh Smith cannot be your SF in any of your main lineups if you expect to win much.

Neither he or Thomas can shoot and the spacing problems they'd create by having both at the 3/4 slots will kill the space that Roy needs to work with.

You either need to go undersized or bring Thomas off the bench.

I like the team a lot except Harrington was an awful choice.

He doesn't rebound, defend, or score efficiently. All he does is jack up shots that he doesn't make nearly enough of. He's a negative for your team, any team that has him higher than 7th or 8th in there rotation is going to struggle to win.

Brand has been horribly misused in Philly the past two seasons, mostly due to atrocious coaching and terrible roster construction.  I expect he'll bounce back this year to something in between his prime and what he's shown the last two years.

Keep selling that Roy, Brand has been used horribly but he still can't produce in 30 MPG. That tells me he's no longer a high level player.

His offensive game doesn't mess well with his greatly diminished abilities. He's a backup C at this point, nothing more.

The Seattle Supersonics:

Guards: Brandon Jennings, Courtney Lee
Forwards: Shane Battier, Blake Griffin, Dejaun Blair
Center; Joakim Noah.

We consider ourselves the clear favorites for team of the future, because of the surprising amount of playoff experience of the young players have and their overall talent. We also consider ourselves to have a shot at the playoffs.

Awesome start with maybe the best young backcourt in the league. I would rather see Smith at PF, Thomas coming off the bench and acquiring another SF. Unfortunately it's getting to the point where drafting a quality starting forward AND a quality starting center is going to be near impossible to do over the next 45 picks or so.

Not completely impossible but very close to it. You definitely have team of the future potential if you decide to draft a young center with potential as your talent is still young and extremely high quality.

I don't think you'll sniff the playoffs unless you get a very high quality back up PG to handle when Jennings is ineffective.

You also need to get some insurance in the front court as right now all your F/Cs have been injured recently and Battier is old.

I'm closer to nick than Faf on this one.  You've got three guys on your team who have traditionally cared more about stats than winning.  I like Rondo and Bogut (so long as he's healthy), but I think this team is a long way off.

I think they're a playoff team, but not a contender. They might not even be a playoff team if they can't jetison Harrington and acquire some shooting.

I thought the Hawks were moving Horford to start at PF and that would make Smith starting at SF

You've been touting Jenning's ineffectiveness all draft, isn't it possible that he was *gasp* a rookie and hit the rookie wall only to rebound and almost single handedly beat the Hawks?
