Just wanted to post in a new thread because the original one is really long and this might not be seen.
http://twitter.com/MrMichaelLeeTalked to 2 other people who denied the BOS-WAS rumor RT
Danny Ainge also denies this
Danny Ainge to Boston Globe on trade rumors with WAS & CHA: "There is no truth to either one of those."
And he says the deal with the most traction is Butler to Dallas
# Heard the deal that has the most traction is Caron/DeShawn to DAL for Josh Howard/James Singleton. Fun times 'til Feb. 18.
I don't think there is any way Wyc adds that kind of salary to the roster. After the 2010-2011 season there is supposed to be a lock out and players will be making a lot less money. Why would Wyc add these huge salary players if players prices are going to drop after next year( besides the ones already signed)
after the 2010-2011 season the C's would have these players under contract
KG: (18.2 MIL) 36 years old
Jamison: (15 MIL) 35 years old
Rondo : ( 10 MIL) 25 years old
Peark : ( resigned 8-10 MIL) 26 years old
Rasheed: ( 6.7 MIL) 37 years old
After next season the C's would have about 40 mil tied up in 3 big men over the age of 35. That is just not a responsible move for the organization going forward.
Not to mention you would have to sign PP and Butler if you want to keep them around.
