ESPN has picked up the rumor.  No surprise there.

Where did you hear/see the rumor. I've been on ESPN and haven't seen it.

Well, at the very least I think it's safe to stop refreshing this page every 15 seconds...

Another report that the discussions are for real, according to "league source" :

"League source confirms Wizards, Celts engaged in trade talks. BOS interest in Jamison, Butler. Wiz in R. Allen. Other pieces being discussed"

http://twitter.com/MikeJonesSports

Boy, "league source" really has conflicting reports... it's a new word than can be used for every report/rumor, it seems.

Ya, I'm going to start referencing 'league sources' in my everyday life. "League sources report that I had too much to drink last night"

Don't mean to keep joking around, but if the Boston Herald "sniffed this one out" why did they fail to report anything? Elitists?

Ric Bucher on ESPN the Magazine just said live that he heard that the Celtics won't do this trade because of the long term cost of the contracts of Butler and Jamison

He did concede however that talks between the teams will be going on all weekend and that if the deal did get done it would change the face of the Eastern Conference

SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D

Oh, c'mon... This trade make no sense: Celtics won't pay over 100 milions next year. It's just a Wizards move to hurry Cavs and Mavs

Fixed

Perk/Sheed/Williams
KG/Jamison/ One stiny sock
Pierce/Butler/Walker
Ray/Daniels/ Allen
Rondo/DJ Agustin/House

I bet the second unit would beat that first unit at least half the times they played them.
