We've had good activity here, although I'm a little concerned/frustrated that some GMs seem to be incommunicado. Haven't heard a peep from the Cavs, Jazz, Kings, Sixers, or Knicks GMs.

It would seriously cramp things up if a couple of them actually flake out on the 1st round Monday.

I merely am here to provide opportunity and hope to my fellow GM's. That's all. It's all a matter of perception. People have different strategies and concerns. One poster wants to bring in lots of picks in a specific round, because he foresees talent there... so discovering these opportunities and working out these strategies is what makes this so darn fun

I think that might make trade offers more interesting and easier.
Nice rivalry developing in the West.
Posters can bounce ideas off me if they needs someone who doesn't care who has the best teams but understands what is going on.
In the interest of clearing the air for any future controversies, I just want to be on record for stating "I HATE YOU ALL"Now, can we please have some friendly, harmless competition.

You managed to catch that one during its 30 second life before I deleted (figured someone might take it seriously then I'd have sleepless nights worrying about being strangled in my sleep by an angry blogger - as though the giant flying frog my wife hung on the ceiling over the bed doesn't do the trick of keeping me up nights already ~ the thing is actually supposed to be a bad dream repellent )
Quote from: Donoghus on August 01, 2008, 01:13:32 PMNice rivalry developing in the West.Portland team president Roy Hobbs responded to recent comments out of Boston that noted the "rivalry" between Portland and Tehran. Hobbs' responded "Rivalry? What rivalry? That's like saying there's a 'rivalry' between the hammer and the nail." Hobbs further explained, "Let me be clear for all those Lakers fans out there, because I know they're a little slow: you guys are the nail."When asked later in the day whether he stood by his comments, Hobbs replied "Did I compare the Lakers to a nail? Sorry. The Lakers are much too soft to be compared to a nail. I apologize to carpenters everywhere."
