Charlotte, NC -- Fans in Charlotte have been outraged by a recent trade made by Bobcats GM, LarBrd33. Many saw the team in perfect position to land two franchise caliber players to lead the team for the next decade. Bobcats messageboards had been flooded with fanatical interest and debate about what two franchise players would be donning the orange and blue. Several of the Chinese members in the community had already printed out t-shirts with the slogan "Yao Ming #11 at pick #11!!". Fans have been distraught about LarBrd33's choice to move down into the late part of the 1st round. Raptors GM, Rondo2287, said in a recent interview, "The Raptors are petitioning an official appeal of the most recent trade involving the Charlotte Bobcats. This trade was incredibly unbalanced.".
When reached for comment, LarBrd33 said, "... ugh... you know... every GM has a bad day. I would like the fans and my fellow GM's to just give me time. It's still early in the process. It was a tough decision giving up a pick in the "cornerstone" tier, but I felt the 2nd rounder made up for it. I appreciate the support, but I will ask for everyone to calm down and let me do my job... please do not judge my squad until the process is over". Bobcats head coach, Justin Timberlake, did not return this reporter's calls.
