Word out of the Wizard's camp is that they are open to more trade offers and that nothing is off the table including their round one pick.

Update from Atlanta:

Hawks GM Lucky17 confirms the club has already received some attractive offers for the Hawks' 1st round pick, but he is unwilling to pull the trigger just yet.

"Despite some very fruitful and cordial talks with other GMs about the pick, we're not quite yet in a position where we're ready to commit to a trade," said Lucky. "We're hoping to see how the first round plays out on Monday before making a decision, as we're cautiously optimistic that one of the guys we really want will be there at #12. If he's not, we want to be able to move quickly with Plan B."

Rumor out of Charlotte is that the Bobcats have agreed to a trade.  Speculation is that it involves the #13 pick in the draft.

No. Every team has been picked already. Your not in it this year because you weren't here when we were making teams.

Interesting trade.  I think Charlotte won that won, because there's going to be a lot of talent that slips to the top of the second.  Still, I understand the desire for picking up depth in the early rounds.

High 2nd rounders are going at a very low price right now.

Guys, in the future, let me OK the trade before you announce it.  I like to be on top of things.

TEHRAN-AP -- Rumors abound that the Tehran Lakers franchise is heavily shopping their sandwich picks at the end of the second round.  Details of what the franchise would receive in return are sketchy, however the likelihood that they're drafting in those spots appears at this point to be very low.

"We feel we have such strong management that we don't have to make deals.  We can draft first, sixtieth, and sixty-first and we'll have a strong core, and we're confident that we'll be in the hunt for our first banner" co-owner Robb said in a statement from his posh Seoul Officetel.

There does at least to be one personnel announcement on it's way soon, as co-owner cordobes is quoted as saying, "We do have our head coaching announcement to make soon, but we'll hold out on that one for now to give our future head coach some time to clear his head about the offers that must be coming his way from all across the NBA.  We're doing our best to be as accomodating to him as possible."

Charlotte, NC --  In a bit of shocking news out of Charlotte.. Bobcats GM LarBrd33 has announced new interim head coach, pop singing sensation Justin Timberlake.  LarBrd33 denies the move is a publicity stunt and ensures the fans it has absolutely nothing to do with selling tickets to the upcoming season for his deadbeat franchise.  "We were impressed with his performance at the ESPYs.  We have every intention of having him as our coach... at least until the draft.  We are confident he'll do a bangup job here"

TEHRAN - AP -- Turns out they were ready already.  Updating an earlier report that they planned on waiting to make their head coaching announcement the Tehran Lakers franchise have inked Greg Popovich to sign on for their coaching duties.  More details will follow, as this AP reporter's message was erased by a slow browser.

Details of the contract are forthcoming, but rumors abound that the deal centers on blueprints for a time travel machine, and a warehouse in the desert region of Iran filled to the rafters with Clearasil and Bath and Body Works Black Sugar Facial Wash-off Mask.
