In the interest of clearing the air for any future controversies, I just want to be on record for stating "I HATE YOU ALL"

Now, can we please have some friendly, harmless competition.

See, now I am sad.

Wow!  You managed to catch that one during its 30 second life before I deleted (figured someone might take it seriously then I'd have sleepless nights worrying about being strangled in my sleep by an angry blogger - as though the giant flying frog my wife hung on the ceiling over the bed doesn't do the trick of keeping me up nights already ~ the thing is actually supposed to be a bad dream repellent ::) )

What can I say.  I am in my parent basement staying out of they way of their cleaning ladies.

(and no, I do not live down here.  I live 5 states away with my wife.  I am just down here for an interview.)

An interview in your basement ;D

AP-(Winnipeg)

Clippers GM Rebus Rankin responded today to comments made by rival Western Conference GMs, Roy Hobbes and Robb. Rankin was quoted as saying that while those two seemed focused on fighting each other, he was focused on building a team that would best both their squads. "We're not your Daddy's Clippers," said Rankin. "Its a whole new era"

When asked to respond to Clippers' GM Rebus Rankin's recent predictions about the Western Conference, Trailblazers team president Roy Hobbs' responded "Los Angeles?  Didn't their only pro team flee to Iran or something?".

When told that the Clippers had been relocated to Winnipeg, Hobbs' noted "No kidding?  I didn't know the D-League had expanded to Canada".

Roy can sure talk the talk no one who's been to Celticsblog can ever doubt that. As far as backing it up I see his prospects dim at best.

See that's the difference between the East and the West.  The West is busy talking smack, while the East is busy building dynasties.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Please the east is going to suffer the most lopsided defeat in the history of the NBA All Star game, my prediction is 120-75. Not only are we going to crush you in that game I gurantee a sweep in the finals by the west representative (the Golden State Warriors).

The Blazers respond with "Can you remind me how that Amare / Shaq front line you drafted last season is working out, please?"

That was awesome... it's like he put together the Amare/Shaq front line with the concept that it would "beast in the middle"...  several GM's debated whether or not it could possibly work...   Flash forward a few months and it actually ends up happening in the NBA.   The guy was a [dang] visionary!... that or Steve Kerr has been keeping a keen eye on our fantasy drafts...

Well according to the NBA first and second team voting Amare was the 6th best player in the league who I believe I got in the middle of the first round. Shaq was a disappointment but he would have been more effective in the half court flex offense I was running with the Clippers. I also had Corey Maggette who only averaged around 20 points a game. I also had Peja who was completely deadly for the Hornets. If I had the complete list of my players in front of me now I would be better equipped to defend myself. I rememeber that when we presented our team I got a lot of support for the idea that I would win the West. (Anyway you could give me links to last years threads)
This year I will continue to do what I did well last year and improve upon the mistakes that I made (absolutely no way I pick Shaq this year, and people killed me for not having a pure point).

Evantime... it was a good move.  It made sense to me.  Obviously it makes sense to Steve Kerr too.   I don't judge it.  I liked it.

You were a key supporter of the Shaq/Amare frontline and that is why I am always willing to listen to a trade offer from you. If I remember correctly the majority of the gms thought it was a good move, who knew Shaq would age so poorly. I still maintain that the uptempo style in Phoenix hurt him.

Is somebody going to put all the teams in NBA 2K8 and simulate a season or is that just a rumour?
