If it's true that the Cavs haven't reached out to the C's and done nothing except complain to the world about IT's timeline, then there's really nothing to be done. No demand, no response necessary.

I've been vocal about wanting to throw in a minor asset if that's what it takes, but that was under the condition that such an asset was officially asked for to finally complete the deal.  I overall agree with this: no request = nothing to do on our end except waste th work day away.
the cavs did ask for extra compensation

They did last night per reports

Looking more and more likely. Cavs probably finalizing a deal once they void this one..

Then the Celts will take it up with the league and have that deal voided

I don't. Having to take back a gimpy IT that might be out a long time and a malcontent like Crowder is not good for boston..neither is having to watch Rozier and Smart run the point. Boston would be losing 25 points per game if this deal falls through

Also, even if the Bucks were to add an unprotected first, it still doesn't even come close to the Celtics package, as nothing can match the Nets pick.

Lebron wants to win NOW therefore he needs players on his team, not draft picks. Or else he bolts. Then again, he will bolt after this season.

A team with Middleton and Brodgon is worse than a team with crowder and IT (even if IT is only healthy for the playoffs)

True. IF IT is back for the playoffs. There seems to be legitimate concern about that. I think Milwaukee might actually pull this off..

How confirmed is this over just speculation?  I am not so sure I buy it.  If Cleveland's concern is IT's health, how does another draft pick change that?  Either IT can help them make a run for the title or he can't.  If they didn't think he could, they would just void the deal in my opinion.  If they are saying yeah, we are good with IT but because he will miss the first month of the season, we want another draft pick, unless it is a pretty low value pick, I say phewwy to you.

People are taking this Milwaukee thing way out of context and blowing it out of proportion.

They're not going to veto our trade. Danny will probably add a couple of seconds to the deal to get it done.

Isn't Middleton often injured? Brodgon looks good but is a really young player. LeBron would love this package and the pick will stink.

Middleton is better than Crowder. The Nets pick is better than Milwaukee's pick. The Zizic/Brogdon comparison is weird because we don't know what Zizic is yet and Brogdon was a 24 year old rookie last year so... who knows.

The best piece in that deal is the Nets pick, though.
