Told Boston not interested in the player or the price.

That's honestly disgusting. 1) to not be interested in Cousins 2) to not be willing to trade Brown, a mid-first (Memphis?) and a second

Wow, shocked beyond belief! Hard to imagine they could not have gotten more. For the Kings, this is how they valued best big man in a long time and could be a huge red flag on just how detrimental he is to the team. He will be free agent in 1.5 years as well. He could wind up anywhere.

He still hasnt made the playoffs..maybe this year with davis.

This is absolutely unbelievable. How in the world does Danny let this happen? Hell, we might have been able to freaking get Cousins without giving up the Brooklyn pick. It looks like the deal was Hield and the New Orleans pick and filler!!

Looks like we could'be gotten him without the Bkn pick

They definitely wanted a pick this year. We only have the Nets pick, so it would have definitely cost us that. Why should we give up a top-4 pick when they are being offered a potential 15th pick? Total overpay. Would Brown, Nets '18, and Clippers/Grizzlies '19 + filler done it? Maybe, maybe not.

Cool. Lets hoard all our assets, and hope one develops into a tenth of the player Cousins is.

Guess Ainge and Stevens didnt want Cousins problems to become the Celtics problems. If all Sactown could get for him was a couple of picks and Hield I think that has to speak to how seriously teams, and especially the Celtics, view Cousins constant mental lapses and poor judgment on the court. I think teams around the league know a lot more about the behind the door goings on about Cousins and decided he just isn't worth the trouble.

Yeah I think that maybe we all need to take a deep breath and realize that DA and Brad probably know a lot more about the situation with Cousins, and probably have a lot of info that we don't have on this board.  It is easy to throw out the DA hate before we even know what the situation, conditions of the trade were.  If Cousins wasn't going to sign an extension, as has been mentioned in some of the tweets, then good for us in not making that deal.  We just don't have all the info yet either way.

How does he not get that done?

Danny has bought into his own hype of being the smartest guy in the room.

He's a star talent and was attainable and you screwed it up. There's no spinning that.

Danny wasn't the only team that wasn't willing to play or pay much.

I'm angry.  Really really angry.  Not interested in a player better than anybody on our team cause Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. brad couldn't handle him.

Prob Brown and 2018 1st

Danny says no lol

Glad this is over with

Looks like Best of best Kings get for Cousins was Hield and a 1st (likely not a good 1st pick)

I assume also Ajinca, Diallo and some others were included

Wow. We probably could have had him for Brown + 2018 Nets pick.

Danny let me down. It will be years before a young star center is on the market again.

Danny offered four #1s for Justice Winslow, but won't deal a young player and a pick for Boogie?

For real. So sick of seeing this over and over and over again and then being lectured on patience when we're legitimately not even chasing after MVP talent-level players now.

Our lonely eyes turn to Jimmy Butler. A player, by the way, not in Cousins' stratosphere.

I really hope we don't overpay for Butler.

Nice player but not a tremendous upgrade at SG/SF like Cousins would have been. If unwilling to trade Brown for DMC, don't give Brown + Nets pick for Butler.

Is it plausible Danny has another deal (Butler, George) already agreed to?
