Told Boston not interested in the player or the price.

Cool. Lets hoard all our assets, and hope one develops into a tenth of the player Cousins is.

Relax ... Its not only the celts that whiffed

Lakers balked etc. Looks like vlade went around the league and best he could get was Pelicans offer... This is how much love cousins has around the league

So looks like the official deal is Cousins to NO for Hield, Evans, one first round and a second round pick (via Philly)! I wonder what turned Danny away from this one...
Probably Demarcus Cousins.

Agreed. I think the volatility he brings is too much to shake up even small bits of the culture. This deal reads to me exactly that and the Pelicans is rolling the dice on high risk, high reward with him.
Let's Go Celtics!!

Wake me when Cousins helps lead a team to finals and wins...It looks like character matters on our team after all....I might have taken the chance but crazy in a mirror is crazy in real life...

If character matters as well, elminiate George, Melo and Butler as well...we will not be releasing our treasure trove of assets for any of them....

Hayward here we come....

This is just a reminder that we were just outrebounded by +20 rebounds in our last game, which we lost, yet Danny wasn't interested in an elite scorer and rebounder who happened to fit the very position and role we needed.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Not much better value than the Ibaka to Toronto deal. Unless you REALLY believe in Buddy Hield.

So Danny really wanted nothing to do with him.

This is what it's looking like.

Not the only team that didn't want him. What's striking is that the Kings got squat. Period.

Yeah that is the real shocking part of this whole deal.  It wasn't just DA that wasn't ready to part with quality assets, it was literally the whole rest of the nba.  Not sure exactly what that says, but it says something.

WOW! What a steal for the Pelicans!!!!!!!

I shake my head. I hope we understand soon why we didn't try harder to get someone whose skillset fits our needs like a glove.

Sacramento got fleeced. Even with attitude issues, he's an all star center in his prime.

That is how much baby cousins and his technicals are valued... He is uncontrollable

Kings get rid of a problem child and while they dont get back enough from what it seems like, they will also likely get a solid 2017 draft pick

I hope the Kings get second in the lottery... and then have to swap their pick with Philly. Vlade is so incompetent.

And this is just a reminder that the Kings have watched Cousins everday since he came into the league and THIS is what they were willing to accept to be rid of him.
