Pelicans - warriors could be a very intriguing 1 vs 8 matchup.

New Orleans has the 2 best big men in the NBA and it's not even close.

This is absolutely unbelievable. How in the world does Danny let this happen? Hell, we might have been able to freaking get Cousins without giving up the Brooklyn pick. It looks like the deal was Hield and the New Orleans pick and filler!!

Looks like we could'be gotten him without the Bkn pick

On the other hand...

HOLY HELL DID THE WARRIORS JUST CRAP THEIR PANTS THINKING OF HAVING TO GUARD A COUSINS/DAVIS MATCHUP IN THE FIRST ROUND lol

That legitimately has first round UPSET written all over it!!

The Nets better hold off the Kings for worst record.

If the Celtics don't land a top 2 pick, this wasn't a good non-move.

If DA didn't believe Cousins would resign or the Kings just loved Hield, then fine.

I trust DA and Brad. I really wanted DMC and the asking price didn't seem completely outrageous, but I'll trust them.

Guess Ainge and Stevens didnt want Cousins problems to become the Celtics problems. If all Sactown could get for him was a couple of picks and Hield I think that has to speak to how seriously teams, and especially the Celtics, view Cousins constant mental lapses and poor judgment on the court. I think teams around the league know a lot more about the behind the door goings on about Cousins and decided he just isn't worth the trouble.

Our lonely eyes turn to Jimmy Butler. A player, by the way, not in Cousins' stratosphere.

So looks like the official deal is Cousins to NO for Hield, Evans, one first round and a second round pick (via Philly)! I wonder what turned Danny away from this one...

Evans, Hield, 2017 New Orleans pick and a 2nd round pick.

WOW. Danny must've really not wanted him. He better have something up his sleeve for the deadline or this summer, because this is inexcusable otherwise. I don't understand how you can pass up a talent like that at THAT price. Literally, the 2017 Brooklyn pick alone would've got it done and is more valuable than that whole package.

How does he not get that done?

Danny has bought into his own hype of being the smartest guy in the room.

He's a star talent and was attainable and you screwed it up. There's no spinning that.

Probably Demarcus Cousins.
