It doesn't matter.  Doc might let Johnson beat out Bass for backup minutes, but he's not going to hand him that role.  There's also some concern obviously with Blake's health.  Brandon Dawson is going to be cut at the end of trading camp, and Blake will still be on the team.  I guarantee you that.  You can come back to this thread in three months and give me a TP for being right.

Amir, Bradley and an 18 first round pick is fair.  Don't give up Isaiah, Horford, Brown or Smart or the 17 pick.  I would trade Crowder in a heartbeat for Blake. Otherwise we just draft.  Add two stud players to go with those guys and we are a dynasty anyways.

Hard to believe this would still be alive (if it ever was alive).  Maybe the Celtics learned more about Blake's leg injury and the bone marrow injections or whatever it is and they got scared off.  I hope I am wrong, a big trade would be fun.

He seems extremely well respected on RealGM. He knows all about the cap and writes frequently for RealGM. I wouldn't be surprised if he knows a few people.

Guys, it's OK if people work to get their sources. I'm a lurker on RealGM and Smitty does great work there. His work has paid off and he now can say he's somewhat of an insider. Not all insiders are Woj and Aldridge and Shams. Heck, Shams started off on RealGM, believe it or not! Point is, information can be attained from people besides the main guys sometimes.
