I dont know

I am seriously thinking that toronto team is sick.
Not necesarily old
and better on D that most people think.
I think you're solo on an island with that thought this year, mi amigo.

Not solo; he's got Redz as a Co-GM. ;)

I do think that that Toronto team is a good one, although I'm not the Jameer Nelson fan that Edgar is.  (I would have taken Kidd, I think.)
Nelson is solid though with that group a pass first guy like Kidd or Rondo has proven a better match. I think Toronto's big mistake though is wasting their 4th rounder on Perkins. Due to his injury my guess is he would still have been available on Monday. Dalambert, while not as good, was chosen right after Perk and would have been a better pick, IMHO, and better for the team come voting time. People just aren't going to think Perk is going to give Toronto much of anything this year and Toronto still could have pick up Perk in the 6th or 7th.

The Perk pick may have been a bit high, but it's hard to judge how long he would have slid.  I mean, Oden and Yao were both picked highly, coming off injuries.  Why not Perk, right?  I do think that I like Perk on that team, assuming he's healthy (which is a big assumption).
Yeah, but Oden and Yao have both been cleared to play come October. How well? Who knows, that's debatable. But Perk isn't cleared to play until February at the earliest and even then, who knows. Then, again, who knows how well he will play.

Like Leon Powe, Perk might be basically lost for the year from playing the type of ball we are used to seeing him play because of the severity of the injury and when it occurred. Heck KG still hasn't come back to being consistently KGish. I expect this year he will be back to being a better rebounder as the spring comes back to his legs again.

We will see. And you are right, Perk could have been chosen before the 6th or 7th round. Given he will miss minimum, 65% of the year or so, it's a gamble I would have taken.

He will be there ready when needed
If Yao asw pointed by my co gm was picked obn round 3 or so
why not perk there
p.s. I am more worried of making this look Bench good
and With one pick that could be made
U will love our bench
I guarantee
My guess is your next pick won't be helping your bench so much as it will be helping your starting lineup. My next guess is you are targeting certain players with Gaelic sounding names that were recently signed by a certain team that loves lawn weeds.

I like your team, though I'd be concerened about the lack of a primary scorer. In crunch time, I don't know who you go to.

A little undersized in the backcourt and I'm not sure if the GReen/Landry/ Haywood front court works just because I thought Jeff Green was a far better PF than a 3.

My gut reaction too. Love Williams, just not sure about the people around him, fit-wise.

Go ahead.

Words cannot express how much I hate that trade for you.  You dealt a Second Team All-NBA power forward and a strong defensive center for...  a highly inefficient point guard who needs the ball in his hands and a strong defensive center.

Also, you went from having a hole at PG (the position with the best depth remaining) to a hole at PF (the position with the least depth remaining).

Lastly, in a league where superstars win, you dealt a current superstar for a guy who currently isn't, and probably never will be.  In doing so, you didn't appreciably improve your depth.

I thought the "Tony Parker + half the draft for Derrick Rose" trade was my least favorite deal.  Unfortunately, that trade is now #2.

What are people's thoughts on my team. I think it has a good mix of youth and experience. It has tough players that are not afraid to mix it up and athletecism at most positions.

I feel a good thing about my team is that it can adapt to situations.

Here are some different lineups for different situations
Starters:
1. D. Williams
2. M. Thornton
3. J. Green
4. C. Landry
5. B. Haywood

Going big (McGee comes in and gives us a shot blocker at the 4 and two seven footers on the court)
1. D. Williams
2. M. Thornton
3. J. Green
4. J. McGee
5. B. Haywood

Going Small (running)
1. D. Williams
2. R. Beaubois
3. M. Thornton
4. J. Green
5. J. McGee

Thoughts?
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I think Minnesota would be best off adding another wing scorer....

You could use a Wesley Matthews type
