If I'm Milwaukee, I take that Clipper package. It's a lot better than that garbage Miami package being offered.
#5 pick man. A young prospect to start their rebuild.
Clippers get Jaylen Brown to team up with Mathurin and Kawhi? Add some pieces and make some noise in the West again.
Celtics get Giannis and Portis to contend with New York and the elites of the West
Think it's a win/win/win for all 3 teams.
Celtics need size, and don't forget, Haliburton is coming back and they have Zubac now so the Pacers will be right back up there with New York. I know the C's swept the Pacers in their last two playoff meetings but they can only sweep them so much. They'll be tough.
I have a couple of questions on this. First, why wouldn't LAC just deal directly with MIL and have Giannis to team with Mathurin and Leonard? That is probably a better team, more balanced. I know the obvious answer is that Giannis doesn't want to go the LA, but this all seems like a strange fit for LAC.
And also, what else is LAC sending out the MIL. Just a bunch of bad contracts from what I can tell,
