I?m kinda bored .  ..maybe more changes need to happen??something doesn?t feel right .

Current team definitely isnt good enough. Tatum probably has a 6 year window. Let's maximize it. The goal is to win championships.

I hate to admit this but I?m getting a bit worked up on this. It?s what I do I guess. At first all I was thinking was Giannis is a bad health risk. Then I was - If Brad wants him I?m good with it.  Now I feel so all-in that I?m going to be disappointed if they don?t get him.

All that keeps ringing in my head is the somewhat relevant fact that we?d possibly have 2 of the top 5 (ok 7) players in the league.

Clippers get Jaylen Brown to team up with Mathurin and Kawhi? Add some pieces and make some noise in the West again.

Celtics get Giannis and Portis to contend with New York and the elites of the West

Think it's a win/win/win for all 3 teams.

Celtics need size, and don't forget, Haliburton is coming back and they have Zubac now so the Pacers will be right back up there with New York. I know the C's swept the Pacers in their last two playoff meetings but they can only sweep them so much. They'll be tough.

He has not heard of an offer, doesn?t mean one was not made. The important thing is his report that Giannis is willing to extend his contract in Boston.

I think it is clear that the Bucks do not want the key piece from either team, and players are being shopped around to third and fourth teams to find pieces and picks the Bucks do prefer.

I also think that probably 2/3 of the league is annoyed with the Bucks because they already went through this process at the deadline, only for nothing to happen.

Right, but the Key piece the Celtics have to offer a 3rd team is Jaylen Brown. The Heat have Tyler Herro. No one is giving up a haul for Tyler Herro. The Celtics should be in the drivers seat.

I legitimately wonder if Milwaukee would rather keep Giannis than accept that Miami package. Unless Giannis changes his mind, I don't think he's signing an extension with Portland or Atlanta (at least he isn't promising it) so those teams wouldn't give up multiple premium assets, and if Boston doesn't get him then MIL either has to either agree to the Miami deal or keep him. Or maybe hope another team takes a gamble on him similar to Toronto in 2019 with Kawhi.

I'm sure some teams will be interested in Herro but he's also extension eligible, I believe I read he can be given an additional 3-4 years at 45M+ AAV. Sorry but that's crazy. Reaves is projected to get 5/240M from LAL and I think Reaves is better than Herro. Bucks have said they don't want to extend Herro. @Who bought up the Magic in the other thread as a potential fit and I agree, and teams like the Grizzlies are options. But again, even those teams I highly doubt would give up much for Herro besides maybe a player, salary piece and 1 FRP (or multiple seconds). Jaylen Brown and potential young players/picks from Portland/Atlanta/NOP is way more enticing in a 3-team framework
