Sacramento are looking at DeRozan. That would be fun.

G: D Fox, Devin Carter
G: Heurter, Monk, Keon Ellis
F: DeRozan, Jalen McDaniels (the bad one)
F: K Murray, H Barnes
C: Sabonis, T Lyles, A Len
How much cap space do they have left?

I don't think they have any cap space. DeRozan is getting linked more and more to an MLE. Or maybe a sign and trade. Nobody with cap space seems to want him.

Maybe Heurter and a pick if a sign and trade. They have good depth at SG with Keon Ellis playing so well for them last year.

Rumour that LAC is looking at Miles Bridges as their PG13 replacement. Their 3rd scorer behind Kawhi & Harden. Plan to use Norm Powell or T Mann in a sign and trade for him if they can land him. That would be good for them. They need another offensive player.

Some folks noting this would mean LAC have signed Miles Bridges (domestic battery), Kevin Porter Jr (same) & Joshua Primo (sexual harrassment) all in the last 12 months.

The Warriors are close to acquiring Buddy Hield from the Sixers via sign-and-trade, per @ShamsCharania. Golden State adds the veteran sharpshooter to help replace Klay Thompson?s perimeter gravity.

Most threes per game all-time:

3.9 ? Steph
3.1 ? Klay, Dame
3.0 ? Buddy Hield

How on earth are the Sixers able to retain Hield's cap hold after signing Paul George?

They haven't signed him yet.  So, they S&T Hield first, then renounce most other free agents, then sign George, then sign Maxey, etc.

Lebron 2 years 104 million.

I thought he was taking a pay cut? Does that mean the Lakers can't get anybody?

I think it means they're moving on from trying to upgrade through free agency to trades which could happen anytime between now and the trade deadline.

Yep.  There are no good free agents left who are worth spending for.  DeRozan may be the only difference maker, and he is insistent that he will not take a massive pay cut.

Oh, okay. So they will s&t him for [essentially] no salary returning and a 2nd and then renounce the TPE to sign George, then Maxey. That makes sense. I forgot GSW didn't really need to trade salary

I think the pay cut would only help with signing free agents.  They seem to have moved on to trades so accepting less wouldn't really make any sense if you're Lebron.

Who are top names that still may be traded?

Lavine, Derozan, Jerami Grant, Markkanen?  Seems like they are all linked to California teams LAL, LAC, SAC, even GS. Will be interested to see where they end up. Or if someone like the Rockets or Spurs get involved.

Does Kuzma get traded or Brandon Ingram?  I thought Ingram might go to Cleveland for Garland but they went after Dejounte Murray instead.

I feel like the Lakers need a legit 3rd star. I am not sure there are any of those available at the moment. Even if there was, I don't think the Lakers have the assets to compete for that star. They would just be in the market for the trash bin.
