The Pelicans are $2.6 million below the luxury tax line after trading for Murray, according to ESPN.

New Orleans is one of two NBA franchises that has never paid the luxury tax.

Crazy. Never paid the luxury tax.

I wonder who the other team is.

Ingram has one year remaining on his contract. On July 6, he becomes eligible to sign a four-year extension worth $208 million. The Pelicans value Ingram?s talent and his down-to-earth personality, but as The Times-Picayune reported in May, the team does not have a willingness to pay him a contract worth $52 million in average annual value.

That leaves the Pelicans with three options: sign Ingram to an extension at his below maximum-value number; go into the 2024-25 season with Ingram on an expiring contract; or move Ingram elsewhere.

Their only good move this offseason

I have no idea what they were thinking in the draft - they drafted two teenagers who are years away from contributing when there were a plethora of older guys who could help their team now.

I like Delon Wright.  He brings more defense than they've had.

I think they'll try to move Ingram. I have no idea what his market is though.

I like D Wright individually as a player but I wonder about him on a team with Giannis. You'd like more of a three point threat than Wright. He only take 1 three every 10min. Not a confident shooter.

That was one of the reasons Dallas let him go a few years ago. He wasn't good enough off-ball to play with Luka. A familiar theme in his career.

I'd like to see D Wright in an offense with more movement and sharing. Not a stagnant one that likes spot-up off-ball shooters. That is not his game.

Taurean Prince to Milwaukee.

Nice upgrade over Jae Crowder.

I wonder if they would start Taurean Prince over Khris Middleton to get some more defense & speed into the starting lineup. Let Middleton be a 6th man. He can spend more time on the ball and be more aggressive looking for his own shot then.

So is the plan then to start Pat Beverley at SG?

I don't see any options in FA for a defensive SG who can shoot well enough to start available at the minimum.

G: Lillard, D Wright
G: Pat Bev, P Connaughton
F: Middleton, T Prince
F: Giannis, B Portis
C: B Lopez

Not significantly different than last year's crew.

It would be great if they could find a solid starting SG. Move Beverley to the bench. Reduce Connaughton's role.

Bucks roster is still very underwhleming.

Brook Lopez is in the last year of his contract. I wonder if it is time for Giannis to shift over to center. Either this year or next year. It would be a lot easier to find capable PFs to play alongside him than another 3+D center. Especially one with athleticism.

Harrison Wind @HarrisonWind

I said this on today's @DNVR_Nuggets show: I believe the Nuggets entered free agency targeting two players specifically. I still think they're on track to get both of those players.

I wonder who those two guys are. One of them is probably Westbrook. They said Jokic asked for him specifically. No idea who the other one is.

Could one of those players be be Miles Bridges? Full MLE? He'd be an excellent fit next to Jokic. Not a great fit next to Gordon and Porter, but it feels like something that could work a bit.

I could see them getting back Gary Trent too. Luke Kenard may be interesting as well. They haven't had a great shooter next to Jokic in a while.

They?re whomever the Nuggets wind up signing, so the guy can say ?that?s who ai was talking about? whenever signings are made.

They don't have the cap space for him. Who could they trade that wouldn't weaken their team?
