JT says he met Larry Bird for the first time tonight... After six years in the league... It's wild that legends can be so checked out on the franchises they played for.

I said what I said.

That's sad honestly.  All of the times Tatum has played against Indy in these past years and they never bumped into each other?

I'm not sure if that's a dig at Tatum or Bird.

Not a dig at Tatum at all.

Little bit of Bird, little bit of the Celtics organization IMO.  Bird is notoriously hard to reach, but I would have thought he'd at least come out to say hello to the new face of his former franchise once in six-plus years.  That's not asking much.  And on the Celtics' side, they don't have a reputation for treating their former players and legends well.  So it doesn't shock me that Bird doesn't have a relationship with the franchise anymore for whatever reason.
It's pretty well documented that Bird wanted a place with the Celtics after retirement and they rejected him. We're surprised Larry Bird held a grudge???

Didn't realize that. I always got the sense that Bird wanted to come back home to Indiana, and that's why he ended up getting more involved with the Pacers than the Celtics. Didn't realize he had expressed interest in being involved with the C's and got shot down, which is funny given how involved the Ainges and other former Celtics have been with the organization throughout the years.

Halftime score is 104-89.

That is a full time scoreline. That is insane. I imagine there is no defense being played at all. As is the new usual in these ASGs.

Dame and Giannis are the only players from the East with double digit shot attempts at halftime.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Haliburton and JT would work so well with each other. A natural pairing offensively.

Somebody tell Dame to calm down, lol.  I want Hali to get his MVP in his home city.

Looks like KD and JT have a little back and forth going on. Love it.

Doc not taking it easy with his guys in the all-star game. You can always count on him to hurt his team's playoff chances

I love Jokic haha.  That possession with Luka and the behind-the-head tip to Shai was great.

JB and Dame tied for most points, 33 each.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Really? For taking 35 shots on the loosing team? The next closest guy on his team took 17 shots

Halliburton w 32pts on 15 shots, plus nearly leading his team in assists
