Kevin Durant wants to be in the conversation of being the GOAT, 😂😂😂😂
He's somewhere in between Harrison Barnes and Andrew Wiggins, for sure.

Atlanta wants to find a 3rd team to take on D’Angelo Russell in order to complete a Dejounte Murray trade with the Lakers, per
Shams Charania.

“It centered around D’Angelo Russell, a 2029 first round draft pick, and a pick swap I’m told. The hold up was that Atlanta wanted to find a third team for D’Angelo Russell.”

I will admit I will be annoying lakers get Murray for a Russell centered package. I really want to see the backcourt reaves and Russell try to guard players like sga, edwards and murray in the playoffs. (Murray obviously had success last year)

Wait.  Isn't LJ the PG.  He should try to guard SGA.

GS - DLo, Prince, Christie (for salary purposes)
LA - Murray, Wiggins
ATL - LA 29 1st, Vincent, Kuminga

GS would do that only if they feel like they need to dump Wiggins and/or he isn't salvageable (saves them a ton of money long term and this year).  Lakers do that if they think they can get something out of Wiggins. Atlanta adds Kuminga and gets the coveted 29 1st.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation -
Deep Bench -

Embiid is absolutely cooking Webanyama. Joel has 30pts and there’s 3 mins to go before halftime. Games on NBA TV for anyone interested.

Jaden McDaniels is off to a bad start against LaMelo Ball. His defense is all over the place. Not locked in. Footwork all over the place. Relying on his athleticism and length to bail him out of bad defensive fundamentals. And it ain't. That won't work against a player as good as LaMelo. And it is not just against LaMelo either. Falling apart on switches too. His head isn't in this game.

Brandon Miller looks smaller than his height & length. He is so thin. He looks like Buddy Hield out there. So unimposing physically for a high level athletic big wing.

Towns is surprisingly good at beating people off the dribble. He took the ball upcourt like a PG there, little hesitation move and then blew by his man to the right all the way to the rim.

He does this far more often than you would expect a guy his size to be able to do.

Edit: Jeez. I knew Towns was hot. I did not know he was THAT hot. He has 41pts and the first half is not even over yet. Drilling 3s for fun. Getting to the FT line at will.

Towns is 8-9 from three and 7-10 from the FT line. Another 6-8 on two point shots.

43 points now.
44 points at halftime.

Embiid finished with 70 points in 36 minutes of play. Spurs can’t guard a parked car. Fire Pop!

I don’t understand why in the world the warriors would do this. They already had the russell experience once and did not like it at all.

Embiid gave Wemby a "Welcome to Philly and the NBA. I'm the MVP here."

Trying to pull a Wilt I see.

Should have traded Brown for Towns when we had the chance...now he's dominating.

I think the argument is Russel has 1 year 18 million after this year, Wiggins has 3 years 85 million. If Wiggins is as bad as he's looked moving forward that's a real expensive/bad contract. So maybe the warriors just want to get off that money?

Its not a deal a competeing team makes, but the Warriors may be moving into a new phase of their team.
