Paul Pierce took a jab at Udonis Haslem retirement ceremony ahahahaha

"This one given bro just sayin (shrug emoji)" the absolute TRUTH!

Super funny but the sad thing is most modern day fans view pierce as some haslem like player and he’s getting hate on socials instead of people agreeing with his obvious assessment.
Pierce has become one of the more underrated and under appreciated players of all time post playing career

Paul Pierce is my guy and I fully support him regardless of his hot takes and terrible assessments.

Agreed I just think it’s sad what his reputation has become…he’s a hall of fame player that people act like was a scrub.

I’m sorry but not even heat fans views Halsey and pierce as similar players. Why would you say this?

I see it’s time for the once every 2 years PED suspension.  I believe Thompson is the 12th player suspended since the introduction of the policy in the early 2000s.

Weird that no stars have ever been suspended.  I guess the NBA just runs a really clean program.

The one reason I think it might be actually cleaner than baseball or football, as opposed to just poorly tested, is that many NBA players participate in international competitions (Olympics, FIBA, Eurobasket, etc) that have their own testing, and they rarely if ever test positive there either.  The Olympics and FIBA both partner with WADA, which has had no problem catching star athletes in other sports.

That said, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the NBA buried positive tests from its cash cows.

Wouldn’t this mean the nba players just don’t run cycles during the summer when fiba and Olympics are happening?

Yeah it must be a 'years served' kind of thing because he never averaged more than 12 points a game, and never more than 9 rebounds a game.
He has been a cheerleader for at least 5-6 years.  Yeah Haslem!!! lol

NBA should test LeBron for HGH or PED...I'm sure he's on it. Why else is he still dominating 30+ a night at his age. And he never gets any major season-ending injuries for his type. It's ridiculous.

cause then they have to act on it
and then they'd basically have to test everyone and only like 10 guys would be left

Yeah, no matter what set of parameters you choose to apply regarding PEDs and the NBA, LeBron is still going to stand out as an all-time talent. It’s not a plausible explanation for his singular performance .

Haslem absolutely should have his number retired by the Heat. I don't think it is even a question.  2nd in games and minutes, 8th in points, 1st on offensive, defensive, and total rebounds; 10th in blocks; 4th in WinShares: etc.

On top of thet he was the starting PF on 3 separate champions.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal, Victor Wembanyama
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards - Luka Doncic

So by that logic, the Magic should retire Nick Anderson's number, too? 1st in games, 2nd in minutes, 5th in DRB, 3rd in ORB, 4th in TRB, 2nd in points, 5th in assists, 1st in steals, 2nd in win shares... 0 All Star appearences. He can join Shaq, Dwight Howard, Vucevic (who I don't think is deserving but has an even better resume than Anderson), Jameer Nelson (also shouldn't, but fits these criteria). And other must be arguable if those guys shouldn't even be a question.

Playing for a team for a long time means you'll rack up counting stats, but it doesn't automatically mean that you should get your number retired. It takes (or should take) more than that, especially for a franchise who has had legitimate success like the Heat.
I'm bitter.

Loscutoff played on seven Celtics championship teams between 1956 and 1964.
