Charlotte is such an irrelevant franchise. Always has been. They should move to another city.

Thanks to their overrated owner Michael Jordan

Don't disagree at all but Charlotte is also just not an NBA city. College hoops? Of course. Even the Panthers (NFL team) are meh and really only experienced some success/buzz during the prime Newton years (mid 2010s). Not really a sports town

Lakers getting blown out by the nets and ham has Lebron and Davis running around down 18 with 5 minutes left. You hate to see it.

At least the Lakers lost so there's some silver lining to my Friday night despite the C's loss lol

Lebron wants his minutes and numbers and Ham has to keep him as happy as possible.

Is Maxey/Embiid the best combo in the NBA today?  Given the season is only half over, I'm surprised that they've already set the record for most 30+ point games together for center/guard combos.  It is more amazing because Embiid has only played in 30 games due to injury.  So in 8 of the 30 games they've played together Embiid and Maxey have both scored 30+ points.

Embiid and Maxey finished with 30 or more points in the same game for the eighth time this season. According to OptaStats, that's the most 30-plus point games by a center/guard combo in a single season in NBA history.

Jokic = 25ppg 12rpg 9apg

It is insane. 12 rebounds and 9 assists a night. It doesn't even make sense. 65% TS%.
Is it really insane in the modern era?

Jokic         25.7ppg   11.9rpg   9.1apg   1.1spg  0.9bpg   65.3 TS%
Sabonis     20.1ppg   12.6rpg   8.0apg   0.8spg  0.6bpg   65.0 TS%
Embiid      35.1ppg    11.4rpg   5.9apg   1.2spg  1.9bpg   65.1 TS%

What might qualify as insane is that Embiid, unlike Jokic and Sabonis, is putting up those offensive numbers while also being a high-level defender.

Brogdon had a big game yesterday, helping Portland beat Indiana. Finished with 30pts, 6ast, 7rebs. 9-18 from the field, 2-4 from 3pt.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

the fact that Shaq and Kobe never did that is astonishing to me.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal, Victor Wembanyama
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards - Luka Doncic

Me too.  Looking at other stories, I'm not sure but I think it may just be a Sixers franchise record not NBA record.  Haven't been able to figure out how many times Kobe/Shaq did it.
