Not a bad idea, per se. But we have Smart, Brown and Tatum, who we have to satisfy with their roles and results, so we have to be somewhat careful. Can't bring in someone like Wiggins (I know, not short term) and reestablish his value by letting him do his thing. But any interest in Gorgui Dieng, Chandler Parsons, Hassan Whiteside, Bismack Biyombo, Evan Turner, Timofey Mozgov, Tony Snell or Cristiano Felicio?

Or we can go back on the overpay veterans for one year (Amir Johnson example) route.
