35 win team MAX.

Lottery bound.

Worst front court in the NBA

Worthless draft picks this year

No PG

An overpaid HAYWARD

Nobody remotely interested in playing here.

Get a hold of yourself, dude.

Please tell me one thing I said that false.

Please tell me one thing that's true, knowing you have no idea what moves we make this summer or what the roster will look like come October.

Hayward is overpaid.

Not if he's healthy and returns to normal next fall. Next.

Cheap
Cheap
tickets this year

 ;D

I’m definitely losing a lot of money on my season tickets

Good thing they jacked up the cost on us. Sickening

That is beyond a big assumption at this point.

Thing is even if Hayward returns to form, he'll opt out and hit FA again in a weak FA year.

So the even that scenario doesn't have much upside.

They will not have enough cap space to sign a guy who will be able to replace Horford.

That is what I meant though you said it more eloquently.

Might as well try and move Gordon Hayward. There's no point in keeping him if we can't keep Al.

Move on with Jaylen and Jayson, go young.

I agree.

If the Celts can swap Hayward for Bradley Beal, Celts would not have to totally go young.

Beal's contract is smaller than Hayward's.
That will give the Celts more cap room.

Celts can then sign D-Lo.

Beal
D-Lo
Brown
Tatum
Smart

That's a good start.

Good luck swapping Hayward for Beal. Washington don't have a president right now but even the janitor would probably say that's not a good idea.

Hayward and Beal have 2 years left on their deal.

Reason why the Wiz will do it is because the Celts will offer a pick or picks as compensation.

The Wiz are going nowhere even if they keep Beal.

Boston offering the #14 pick is a good start.

14 pick's not going to move their needle. We'd have to give up the Memphis pick and Danny won't do that if we're going all in on youth.

Bradley Beal will turn 26 years old next week.

He can be a part of the youth movement.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all in on Beal...but #14's not going to move their needle. Maybe Hayward, 14 and Memphis pick will.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Danny is hauling off and destroying the entire team. He doesn't deserve the chance to oversee another rebuild. He either corrects the ship and retains our Stars, or he leaves. I hope Wyc realizes this.

DA put the team in a position to get AD, he even saw AD wanting out years ago and started to lay the ground work out.

But he can't prepare for everything. Can't prepare for Towns to sit on IT and crush his career. Can't know that Irving is a total Divaflake and wouldn't buy into Stevens system and they way they want to play. Couldn't known that HAyward would destroy his leg 5 minutes out. Almost had KD but GSW were just too attemting. And couldn't have predicted that AD would have been dead set on LA because LEbron went there and that LA would give them a franchise killer deal.

Unless you let Irving be like LEbron and let him dictate things, he wouldn't be happy and would bounce.

Horford seems to want more money longer term, but seems like DA is trying to get him cheap, which I don't blame him, he's trying to work with very little cap and needs as much as possible. And doesn't want to get locked into a long term commitment with and older vet that wont fetch him much in two years. I don't blame either party if Horford leaves.

Yeah it sucks, but we still have two young guys that we can build around to show for going all in. If KG/PP and Allen walked after a couple years it would have been way worse than what it is now.

Is a helluva 1-4, present and future, to build around.

Sign me up!

Beal is great but he and jaylen play same position thus doesn't make sense to me unless Jaylen is moved too... But doesn't seem likely

And would Beal stay in two years? And how do you play Beal, Brown and Tatum together? Start Beal as a PG?

I don't know what Danny is offering, but investing a ton of $$ over 4 years in 33 yr old Horford could be crippling a year or two from now. Just doesn't make any sense, as much as it hurts. Al may find that once he hits the market, no one is going to meet his price. I have a suspicion he's going to wish he hadn't opted out.

We need a  big who can play D. Randall has a nice offensive game, but he's terrible defensively.

I will be here next season just as I was this one because this is my team.  The fairweathers will bolt, but each year we seem to add a few more diehards.

How exactly do people think Boston is going to get Beal? For Hayward and picks?

To get Beal it would cost Tatum or Brown

Paul George initially struggled coming back from a devastating knee injury. Seems to have worked out okay.

Maybe. Or maybe he already has a good idea of a team or two willing to pay him 4 year deal. A lot of cap space out there.

I used to think that but I think he was a fringe max player to begin with....

I wish him well but he is too redundant with Tatum and Brown in terms of positions.
