Just don't see all the love for Randle. Guy is going to be overpaid and I hope Boston is not the team to do it.

Might as well try and move Gordon Hayward. There's no point in keeping him if we can't keep Al.

Move on with Jaylen and Jayson, go young.

I agree.

If the Celts can swap Hayward for Bradley Beal, Celts would not have to totally go young.

Beal's contract is smaller than Hayward's.
That will give the Celts more cap room.

Celts can then sign D-Lo.

Beal
D-Lo
Brown
Tatum
Smart

That's a good start.

Good luck swapping Hayward for Beal. Washington don't have a president right now but even the janitor would probably say that's not a good idea.

Hayward and Beal have 2 years left on their deal.

Reason why the Wiz will do it is because the Celts will offer a pick or picks as compensation.

The Wiz are going nowhere even if they keep Beal.

Boston offering the #14 pick is a good start.

14 pick's not going to move their needle. We'd have to give up the Memphis pick and Danny won't do that if we're going all in on youth.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

The fact they need Hayward to return to Utah form is now beyond massive. If not, this team might be one of the worst in the East.

If Horford walks, I think they will try to move Hayward somehow and go all in on youth. At least the young guys unhappy with their playing time (Rozier, Brown, Tatum, and whoever else) will have plenty of minutes now, they can't complain anymore.

They would need to renounce Terry. No need having him run wild with zero vet leadership around

Ainge will not settle for players that are not game changers.

People are being flat out hysterical right now. Nothing has even happened yet. Let's save the wrist slitting until it actually happens. And if he doe leave, so what? We weren't contending even with him, and he didn't fit our timeline anyways, going with our young guys,.
2023 No Top 75 Fantasy Draft Los Angeles Clippers

SG: Sidney Moncrief / World B. Free

Danny is such a hack, I want him out of the organization so bad.

Woj is reporting that Danny won't pay Al the 3 year price he's asking for. What better options do you have in the frontcourt over the next three years? The man was the first big time FA we ever signed, other players look at this stuff.

We are being judged harshly around the league by players and agents for the way Danny treats these guys. Yes he owes it to the Celtics to get better first and foremost, but it's a players league.

As sorry as the Lakers are from a management position, they have a great reputation for taking good care of their own guys. Our rep is getting worse.

A new GM and culture would be a shot in the arm. Danny sucks.
You don't know what Horford is asking for.  He may want 3yr/90M.  I certainly wouldn't pay him that on a non-contender.  Don't know which teams Horford thinks are going to give him a 4 year deal.

Not a really surprising turn of events.  We got Horford because the Hawks offered him a bit less than Max at the time.

Danny is hauling off and destroying the entire team. He doesn't deserve the chance to oversee another rebuild. He either corrects the ship and retains our Stars, or he leaves. I hope Wyc realizes this.

Danny brought this team a championship after a 22-year drought. He's a top-5 GM who, as recently as last fall, had amassed a treasure trove of assets that was the envy of the league. Stop being a prisoner of the moment and see how this all plays out.

Agreed. Don't go near Rozier.

Rozier needs structure offensively to survive at PG. He is an undersized SG with limited PG skills. He will drown without Horford around to keep him afloat.

He can be a part of the youth movement.

I am packaging every pick to move up or for a vet Thursday.

For what we are not going to contend with just one vet, it is pointless.   If Al leaves time to embrace the tank, sadly and develop what we have.

I would hate to see Horford joining Kyrie in Brooklyn or worsejoining Bron Bron and Davis in LA.

That would kill me.  >:( :'(

It's only a good start if it's accompanied by the Memphis pick and Brown

Wiz really have no other direction but down.

The #14 pick plus the Memphis pick, with protection, will be a good deal for the Wiz.

Brown doesn't have to be included.
They could probably get unprotected firsts elsewhere though

Celts have more assets than any other team right now.

Not anymore. Not with Horford and Kyrie leaving for zero compensation. Celtics are no longer a team deep with assets.

They just lost 2 All-Stars.

There's another option.

Trade Hayward and a pick or picks for Bradley Beal.

Hayward is 29 years old, so he can't be a part of the youth movement.

Beal will be turning 26 next week.
