I am packaging every pick to move up or for a vet Thursday.

For what we are not going to contend with just one vet, it is pointless.   If Al leaves time to embrace the tank, sadly and develop what we have.

Unfortunately the picks the Cs have are not going to net much in impact players. Not seeing how 3 rookies do much. I guess it adds bodies at this point.

I think we have to accept that the team is probably going to be out of the playoff picture next year, in all likelihood.

They will not have enough cap space to sign a guy who will be able to replace Horford.

  Per sources, the Celtics have been aware of Horford's interest in signing elsewhere for a few days. The team has not given up hope of trying to convince him to stay, however. 

Don’t think hope is quite lost yet. As I suspected originally, this looks to me a lot like both sides posturing trying to get what they want - Al wanting more money/years and Danny wanting less money/fewer years.

Hopefully a deal can get done. Would be a shame to lose him, too. That said - I do think there should be a limit to how much we spend on him.
