Haynes is getting exposed as the Klutch Sports and Rich Paul propaganda machine, and notice how the only other guy who's mentioned Kyrie likely leaving is Windhorst (LBJ's mouthpiece). I trust what Kyrie said in front of a packed TD Garden crowd and the Pelicans organization who pretty much called out Lebron, Paul and the Lakers for blatant tampering.

I think PhoSita nailed it.

The whole paragraph reads: "Regarding team preferences, Boston is not a top target for Davis, sources said. There’s a growing belief of uncertainty that Kyrie Irving will re-sign with Boston, sources said, even though he vowed to do so at the beginning of the season."

So there's 2 things there, both attributed to "sources." Different sources? The same sources? Who knows but it reads to me like the "growing belief of uncertainty (::))" is coming from people around Davis, not people connected, in any way, to the Celtics.

Assuming New Orleans doesn't blow this and waits until the offseason to do a deal, by that time the Kyrie thing won't be any issue anymore.

We'll see what AD and Kyrie's conversations at the all star game look like.

Aren't Giannis and Lebron the captains?  Giannis needs to pick AD before Lebron does, and then take Kyrie with his 2nd pick.  That would make me a big Giannis fan!

Giannis is like "Don't go to the Lakers to join LeBron. Come join the Bucks, Davis! Come join the Bucks, Kyrie!" and then a superteam will be formed in Milwaukee ;D ;D ;D

First off Gia is the anti Lebum human .   He was not raised spoiled and annionted like Bron.   He did not own a HUm V at 16 yrs old. , passing money to his mother since he was like 14-15 .

Second.  i d lov a dynasty any where but LA.  ,  the whole NBA wanting to live in the same patch of earth is annoying .

Yeah. Windy was obnoxious on the Lowe Post podcast today with his Kyrie to the Lakers talk. I don't know if Kyrie ultimately resigns, but I'd be totally, completely, absolutely shocked if he goes to LA to play with Lebron.

The more Boston wins without Irving, the more likely I think it is he leaves.

I'm particularly worried about the Knicks acquiring Davis and thus making them a very attractive spot for Irving in the summer.

It's not essential that they keep Irving but....get ready for more of this when Tatum and Brown are eligible to hit the market - and then there's Al, who's probably the one guy on the current roster who would be hardest to replace.

Have no idea what Irving will do, but I'm afraid that Davis making a point to get this info out there before trade deadline is ac lear signal he is less interested in Boston and wants to give Lakers every opportunity.

Haynes is one of those LA flunkies who should be ignored.

If that was true, does Kyrie declare he's resigning with the team after they make it to the conference finals?

The Lakers will never get the Pelicans to trade Davis to them under these conditions. They just said (from the tweets) they are not trading him. Period. The Lakers and the Yankees are two big market teams that think, with the media help they get, that they can get any player they want from any team. It's big market arrogance.

Kyrie's going nowhere - much to the chagrin of the few haters in BOS and those muddying the waters in the media.

Sounds Like Adam Silver needs to make his voice heard.

Davis is due for a mysterious injury that keeps him sidelined indefinitely very shortly.  This is going to be fascinating to watch play out.

Isn't it odd that - "an unnamed player" on GSW makes a negative remark about GH (who is an integral part of our future) and NOW this stuff breaks about AD?

And THEN the rumor floats about Kyrie?

Either I'm crazy or there is a movement going on to sway folks AWAY from BOS.........

I'll give ESPN much credit, though - nearly ALL of the analysts on this stated that NO would be best off waiting until the Summer to deal AD - all but one.

I think Demps is going to stay the course. Smart man.

And if AD is floating some of this mess then I don't want him in Green.

I would guess it more likely Rich Paul talked Davis into doing this whole fake news media blitz to convince Davis that LA is the place to be because Paul, let's be real here, everyone in the business of basketball knows this, Paul works for LeBron first, second, third and fourth most before he works for anyone else and LeBron wants the Brow in LA.

Hope you are right - Please explain why Garnett would urge Davis to go to Lakers like he did a few weeks ago when #5 loved being a Celtic and knows how much it means to play here ?
