Also, what's up with SI giving this man a platform? Absolutely nauseating.
He's the agent of LBJ/Draymond Green/Anthony Davis
He doesn't need SI to give him a platform, his clients give him his platform.
Do you know the agents for Curry, Giannis, Kawhi, Harden, Durant?
Think about all the guys who are constantly rumored to maybe move this summer: Durant, Klay, Butler, Irving, Kemba, Davis (via trade). I feel like out of all these superstars, only one of those agents is constantly in the news.
Of the last few big names to demand trades (Butler, George, Kyrie, Porzingis, Chris Paul) I don't know who any of their agents are.
Personally, out of all those guys I only know the agency for Durant, not the agent, and have no idea about the other guys, except for Uncle Dennis (Kawhi), but he's not an agent. Now I recognize almost all the agent/agency names once I googled them, but wouldn't know who they represent without first looking them up.
Writing this out, I think it's kind of crazy there's so much Kyrie free agency talk, so many rumors about a superstar on the team I passionately root for, and yet I have no idea who his agent is. Really the only Celtics players who I know the agent for are Smart (mostly because of the name Happy) and Morris (whose also managed by the infamous Rich Paul).
Rich Paul is definitely pushing hard for his platform. Probably my biggest reason for disliking the guy. Every article/conversation about a Rich Paul client is about the player and agent, while seemingly every article about any other player is only about the player.
