I hate this topic and all these speculations on what will happen.  It's pretty useless and rather lame given that people in Texas are losing their homes & everything, and the Prez is pardoning a proven racist criminal.  Get some perspective people.

That said, if "sensitive" negotiations are re-opened, Ainge should ask for something else back too.  I mean, why not?  Perhaps a pick swap instead of just giving them an additional pick. The Cavs are not exactly in the best negotiating position.

So people aren't suppose to go about their lives while something they can't do much about is happening to other people? I'm sure there are people on here that have donated something to help our in some way. But to shut down what we do on CB is a bit ridiculous, kinda like calling people out for adding their two cents into this thread, and then adding their own.

While I feel badly for the people of Houston who are now having to deal with the very real ramifications of their local government's decades-long idiotic policies regarding flood control and climate change, that's not something I'll be able to solve on a Celtics forum. So we'll discuss the Celtics here instead. You're free to choose not to participate.

OMG. agree on the texas stuff but last i checked illegal aliens are not a race even if the vast majority are a certain dempgraphic! breaking the law is breaking the law regardless who is doing it, get a clue! Go look at the list of people obama pardoned for perspective.

This is quite off topic, but just to clarify, that sheriff was not punished for targeting illegal aliens. He illegally targeted all non-whites, regardless of suspicion, in order to look for illegal aliens, and continued to do so after being ordered to stop by courts of the land despite being a law enforcement officer. That is undisputed, but seems to be the tip of the iceberg; there is overwhelming evidence and settlements that he did all this at the expense of investigating actual crimes, like child rape, etc.

In summary, he was tried and convicted for violating constitutional civil liberties of US citizens and refusing to stop doing so after he was caught and ordered to stop.

I did too. We should all be praying. Trump is president. We are divided. Let's have some unity and vote in 2018 the way you feel. And call who you want to run for Prez  in 2020 or run yourself. What makes us different as a country is the peaceful change of power. Let's keep it that way guys. Peace.

But you're on CelticsBlog, in the Celtics Talk subforum.  Why would you expect disaster relief and politics to be the main points of discussion here?  Those topics aren't what this place was created for.  This doesn't stop being CelticsBlog just because one of the members decides that something more important is going on someplace else.

The deal was not for IT. He is filler who is not even in the Cavs future plans. The deal was for the top 5 pick and crowder's friendly contract
