FWIW - Chris Mannix saying Dragic doesn't want to come to Boston....

Chris Mannix @ChrisMannixSI  ยท  1m 1 minute ago
Boston an intriguing trading partner for PHX because of assets, but sources close to Dragic say: He isn't interested. Doesn't like BOS fit.

Not sure how reliable Mannix is considering supposedly one of Dragic's preferred destinations is the Knicks even though Mannix reported as recently as a day ago that NOBODY wants to play for the Knicks.

If Dragic doesn't like the Boston fit, it's because it wouldn't provide him a big enough spotlight and role to try and justify the largest possible contract this summer.

Whereas blowing up for the Knicks or Lakers (and, to a lesser extent, the Heat) would probably do that.

Dragic can be the man in Boston, whereas in New York or L.A he'll have to wrestle with Kobe or Carmelo.

Those guys are out for the rest of the year. Dragic is trying to put up big numbers to end the season so he shows he is worthy of the max.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Our leading scorer is Sully... Dragic is pretty much the guaranteed leading scorer here but you're right he would be on those two terrible teams as well

I don't know. I guess it depends on your motives. If you want to win, I don't understand why you would go anywhere out West.

Houston--?...He wants out of Phoenix because he wants the ball in his hands more--
Harden is the biggest Ball Hog in the league.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Probably coming from Dragic's agent. Just a little subtle message to Morey that he doesn't trust him.

Dragic today

Quote
"I don't trust them anymore, it happens too many times. Two, three times."

"They give promises, OK. It's hard. But at the same time, I wish them all the best. They were great to me the past five years. I'm always going to have a good memory about Phoenix fans and the city. I just hit that point of my career that it's better for me and my family to move on."

"I don't feel comfortable with my situation. It's just different. Standing in the corner, it's not my game. I see that we're not going the right direction. That's why I take action and try to put myself in a better position."

Players/agents tend not to trust that Morey is looking to keep them

I know people were worried about Danny having a similar image from potential moves in the past, but if you are a good player, wouldn't you be pretty pumped that if you don't work out here, Danny will look to pit you in a good situation?

I know some people say that Danny isn't loyal, but to me he's really loyal to his guys (in a 21st century NBA sort of way)
I trust Danny Ainge

I think he's #1 in regards to relationships with players + agents.  He's well liked around the league, that's my hunch.

As good as gone, to where remains to be seen.

I'm convinced at this point that DA is only interested because he's collected so many assets that even a mid first is the best PHX is getting and Dragic for that price is worth it, even if he bolts. They literally have no leverage, remember what we got for Rondo?

Makes sense.....why would Suns want to help send a guard like Dragic to LA ....and he destroys the Suns in return......

Suns don't want to rearm the Lakers .....they d rather ship him east I'm sure.......

He doesn't want to come east ...all the teams suck
