If we are trying to obtain Dragic and Plumlee, then I could see us trading Bradley and a pick.

Otherwise I see us as being a 'facilitator', hopefully getting another asset back and moving Dragic onto his destination of choice.

Dragic and Plumlee for Sullinger and Clippers 1st.
have we recently heard that dragic will resign with the celtics? if not, if he still intends to leave the celtics if traded here, then why trade assets for a rental during a rebuild year?

Yeah, Celtics on the list of his prefered teams. NYC, LA, Maimi are at the top, but Boston on the list as well. SAC and HOU are def not on the list!

 ???

I'm confused, thought we weren't on the list.

Some sources say there's a list of three teams (MIA, NYK, LA).  Others say there is a list of seven teams, with those three aforementioned teams in the first tier, and four others teams in the next tier.  Furthermore, some sources say that the Celtics are in that second tier, while other sources say they are not.  Based on the fact that Dragic does not seem likely to become a Celtic, I'd say that a) there are only three teams, b) if there are seven teams the C's are not one, or c) if the C's are in the second tier, it's a very lukewarm second tier (we'd consider an offer, but we're definitely exploring free agency).

I thought Dragic's agent was on the record saying they don't like the fit in Boston but whatever.

I've only seen it as the unnamed "sources close to Dragic" who talked about fit.  Which may very well be true, but being unnamed is not being on the record.

Goran Dragic- that type of player that seems sexy during the trade deadline.

The Reports: Dragic wants his brother to go with him.  Double Dragons.
(Why not his mother and kid sister, and cousin Akakiy to get contracts too....no thanks)

Dragic only wants to go to Miami, NY, LA.  : Teams with losing records, dismal seasons.
(Um, nightlife and money- doesn't sound like a guy dedicated to making his teammates better.

Rewind:  So you are saying that Dragic is worth multiple first rounders and make the Celtics better than say- um   Rajon Rondo.

No thanks.  What motivates Dragic and what Dragic wants isn't worth it.

Looks like he might go to Miami after all!!!

If Miami can include Norris Cole into a Dragic deal w/ Suns, Cole could be shipped through to Detroit, league sources tell Yahoo.

This Dragic stuff is pretty really ridiculous in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I do like his game and think he has some really unique skill sets. I also think he would help out a lot of teams. On the other hand, he is not Lebron, Davis, Harden, Westbrook or Durant. I don't really get how he and his agent think they can say this guy only wants to play for 3 teams. Maybe they have some leverage now because he will become a free agent, but doesn't how he is coming off now really hurt his value in the offseason? Wouldn't the other 27 teams remember him demanding a trade, screwing over his own value and submitting a 3 team list when they consider signing him to a big contract this offseason? Some of these manuevers seem really short sighted.

Picks and Cole.  If Cole goes to Detroit, presumably they also send Phoenix something.

I wouldn't mind if we facilitate this trade and get Napier. Sending Prince to Suns.

It's nice seeing him get exposed as overrated after having argued with fellow fans for years that he was overrated.. but I don't hate him. I'm looking forward to seeing him [...] bounce around to a couple more teams... eventually come back to Boston[...] and helps us as a role player until he runs himself out of the league.
