i think stevens is similar to his players, learning as he goes. losing leads is hard, but understandable if the talent is not there.
That loss was not about talent. That's a cop out where every win is because Stevens is a great coach but every loss is because we just suck.
I'm not going crazy. I like a lot of what I'm seeing from Stevens and that Chicago win was a great step forward. But turning double digit leads into losses twice in the span of 7 games is worrying. It also seemed like depth was going to be a strength of this team but we've only got 7 guys playing over 20 minutes. Chicago, where Thibs is infamous for running guys into the ground, has got 8 guys averaging over 20 minutes.

That loss was not on the coach. lol
Not much a coach can do when no one on your team wants to try to play defense. Especially since we have so little talent on this team.
Also, in what world did you think this team would have depth? That's insane.
If you don't have any control over what your team does during games, why are you getting paid millions of dollars a year?
As for depth, Bradley, Green, Bass, Thornton are all proven rotation caliber players and Rondo is an all star. Do you think Sully, KO, Smart and Zeller will all be out of the league after their rookie deals? Now add the somewhat dubious Evan Turner and Gerald Wallace to that list. AND the fact that the Celtics played and Stevens coached in the pre-season like they were expecting to be a deep team.
And when I say deep, that does not mean good. It just means spreading the minutes around.
