Well, let's be real for a moment - our halfcourt offense does suck.
So does our talent at scoring.

Right, except we're the 2nd offense in the league.

Careful, you're going to awaken the Small Sample Size Kraken.

http://knickerblogger.net/nextish-day-notes-and-errata-timberwolves-knicks/

I never said there was a large sample size of evidence for us being the 2nd offense in the league, but there's a lot more evidence of that than there is of our team having no talent at scoring.

Oh, I know. I just rediscovered the Small Sample Size Kraken and was looking for a reason to post it.

edit: and now it will live on forever.

New game lost being up at home... ??? OKC without Durant & Westbrook dictated the game in second half...I do not see the coach hand in this team. Who still does not think this way, will have chances durgn all season like last season...

You do realize the Thunder sans KD and Westbrook are still a better team than we are, right? Especially without Thornton Smart.

Two of their best players are bigs and that's killer with our mismatched roster. Jackson is no joke and while Morrow went off, that makes up for Lamb having a very, very quiet night.

At any rate, energy won the Thunder the game and it lost us the game. That's gonna happen. Makes up for the Bulls game in which we beat a much better team thanks to our energy. Must one coach be better than the other every time his team has a high-energy night while the other coach's team plays flat?

Celtics blow 15-point lead, lose to Thunder reserves ...

Stevens' breakdown of the loss yesterday: "They ran some good stuff and made some shots". Gee, thanks, coach. I sure hope you've got something more substantial to say in the locker room.

What else do you want to say?

Brad Stevens is a phenomenal coach.  He's struck gold with the performance as a team in reference with the group of players hes got.  If Rajon Rondo stays in boston Brad Stevens and Danny Ainge are the two biggest reasons why.  Im in disbelief that a celtics fan would actually write that Brad Stevens "isn't a real coach".  Thats absurd.

PS - Evan Turner has been playing the point guard spot great.  When he started at the point against chicago hes a natural.  And hes a good fit along marcus off the bench splitting the point guard roles.

Who knew that one loss could fans lose faith in a coach already.....

LOL in all honesty was that a joke that phil pressey is our best point guard?  The mistake last night was actually that phil pressey played 8 minutes too long.  The only time Pressey should ever see the court is in situations like against indiana, where we were sloppy.  The mistake last night was that phil presses minutes were not given to james young.  We were flat on office for the majority of the game, and our bench was nonexistent.

This team needs a real roster, not a real coach.

Right now, it's a construct of a bunch of young guys, redundant parts, and rotation guys.  It's going to continue to be an up & down team until they can get themselves a go-to scorer and a serviceable center who can defend.
