Well, let's be real for a moment - our halfcourt offense does suck.
So does our talent at scoring.

Right, except we're the 2nd offense in the league.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

The love child of Red Auerbach and John Wooden would be no better than 1-3 at this point.

Eugen, enjoy the season -- it will be fun if you look for progress rather than perfection.

Of Course, team by team comparisonn per game, we are 1st In PPG scored, shooting wise we are shooting .28% from three land and .46 in FG%.  FGM we are first, we are eighth in FG%  25th in 3p% , 28th in FTA.   I doubt we sustain this folks.  This is a team that lives and dies by the jumper and we are dying.

Take a look at a team by team comparison,

http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/team/_/stat/team-comparison

We are 22nd.

What if he was conceived out of spite?  I feel like those two would be fiery together.

Ahh, but they always work out their differences in the best interest of their prodigious super-coach child.

You do realize that the celtics have only played 4 games and the other teams above them have played 5 or 6 right?

I was watching the game on the Bulls broadcasting network, and the mic was close enough to Brad to pick up a lot of his calls. Specifically on defense, his calls on double-teaming and shedding screens were pretty impressive to me. Very timely, and if it wasnt for aaron brooks, there's no way the bulls wouldve made any headway. The post men were severely undersized, but the D adjustments were perfect. Great job Brad

The link I was watching was the same.  Brad was talking so much on every defensive possession.  Literally calling out switches and adjustments for each player.  It was really interesting to hear.  I didn't think that brad was talking to the team so much during the game, but I guess you just can't hear it on the average broadcast.  tonight it was clear as a bell.  super cool to hear.

yes, i noticed it too. it was cool to hear him shouting out instructions. in the fourth quarter he was screaming at olly to somehow move higher. i would like to hear this more often to get a feel for how he coaches the team.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

yeah, it was very specific instructions for certain players, he would yell their name and tell them where to go, and when to back off.  I have never heard a coach do that so much and be so specific before with instructions from the bench.  maybe it is because I can't normally hear it from the broadcasts, but the nba games that I have went to in person, I never heard any coach instruct that much before.

When you have such a young and undersized group of bigs, they need as much help calling out D as possible. I guess he's our new KG ;D

I never said there was a large sample size of evidence for us being the 2nd offense in the league, but there's a lot more evidence of that than there is of our team having no talent at scoring.
