Lar Brd...how about Toine's Boys 2 next year for either Jabari Parker or Joel Embiid. Realistically they both have had potential career ending injuries recently and both of their teams are going to be trying to replace them in the draft.  I've had lots of people asking me about my 2nd rounder next year including one GM in direct competition with you.

Hi eja, you can send me that trade request privately if you prefer.  I've received a better offer for Embiid already, so I'm unlikely to do this one.    I put my entire gluttony of assets on the trade block last week.  I'm sorting through the offers.   Once I weigh them, you will likely see a flood of Leprechaun trades.  If this ends up being my my last season, I want to make it count.  I'll file that offer in the database for LarBot to sort through.

Sometimes LB33, whether or not you are right or not, it's just best to let things go and talk only on basketball. This back and forth just ends up keeping the focus on these negative issues and in general irks most GMs to the point that they check out mentally.

Why should this be your last season? You've spent all this time and effort putting together a great roster of young prospects that is set to contend long term, why not follow it through and see how it develops?

As for the other stuff, I enjoy your good natured comic relief Bellevue posts, some don't, but that is not the problem.

I get it that you may feel the need to defend yourself and respond to attacks, but its only making things worse for you and the perception of your offers long term. In such cases, letting it go lets it be forgotten pretty quickly and then your assets do the talking. BFM, Eja, Champkind, Rondo, they are all good dudes. Let's just acknowledge that each person involved has some legit points, and leave it at that. This league can be fun when not taken too seriously.

I suppose i could go as low as MKG or Randle for the 2nd rounder. Although I've been offered better. I mean one of those guys is a huge disappointment/bust and the other is on the road to bustdom since he missed his entire rookie year and will now have to defer to Jahil or Karl Anthony.

Or maybe I could take Jrue since he also has a bed reserved for him at the local ER.

I'll think about it.  That's the first offer I've received for Jabari Parker.  I'm leaning toward no, because Jabari was averaging 40 when he got injured.  The 2nd rounder is a bigger risk as few picks in that range pan out... And also because adding a 2016 2nd rounder does nothing to "immediately" improve my team.  Thanks for the offer, TP

I'm getting excited about this upcoming draft. I was lukewarm a while ago, but as it's approaching and we learn more about these prospects, I think it is actually going to be one of the deepest drafts in years. Lots of talented players in both rounds, and multiple potential 40 ppg guys imo.

I'll give you a legit, public offer LB, before TB's front offices go into semi-vacation.

Jusuf Nurkic and #14 for Joel Embiid

He definitely wasn't averaging anything near 40, although he was playing well....but then he actually did get injured with a career threatening injury. You could take the 2nd rounder and immediately package it to move up into the top 8 of the draft, after which is a huge drop off.

Thank you for your offers. I've received better ones.  TP
Ok. How about Jabari Parker then?
I'll think about it.  That's the first offer I've received for Jabari Parker.  I'm leaning toward no, because Jabari was averaging 40 when he got injured.  The 2nd rounder is a bigger risk as few picks in that range pan out... And also because adding a 2016 2nd rounder does nothing to "immediately" improve my team.  Thanks for the offer, TP
He definitely wasn't averaging anything near 40, although he was playing well....but then he actually did get injured with a career threatening injury. You could take the 2nd rounder and immediately package it to move up into the top 8 of the draft, after which is a huge drop off.
Sorry man I just got a better offer for Jabari. TP
Well I'm getting better offers for my 2nd rounder but I still think we should talk about it.
