lol only took to the second game for JB?s warts to show up. 1-7 with 3 TOs and -11 already.

The 76ers look very discombobulated out there - completely opposite from the other night. Their defense is atrocious.

Cavs might have a Celtics problem too. 24 point lead at halftime, now down to just 5 with still 4 mins left in the THIRD quarter

Well, the Celtics won't have the worst collapse after tonight lol And Atkinson pulling a Joe and letting this go wayyyy too long before calling a timeout.

What's interesting about Philly is, their starting lineup is monstrous. The bench/depth though is iffy even with Simons/KCP. It'll depend how they manage the starters and if they have some injury luck. No question if they can stay healthy and build chemistry they are a force, but it's a long season and I think that'll be what decides it for them, particularly Embiid's health too

I am surprised by San Antonio's starting lineup on opening night. They played their 3 ball-handlers as starters (D Harper, D Fox, S Castle) which is a small surprise but not a shock ... but it was the 4th starter that surprised me so much.

I thought they would keep a bigger SF/PF body (Champagnie, Tobias Harris) out there to play PF alongside Wemby. Instead they kept Devin Vassell as the final starter and dropped Champagnie to the bench.

So now they are playing 4 guards plus Wemby.

Another team blows a big lead.  Huh.

For better or worse, this has become more common in the modern era mainly because of the threes and the rule changes that have allowed offenses to flourish.

It will be very very interesting how they manage minutes. Brown always plays tons of games and minutes, but weve seen him have wear and tear on his knee really sap his explosiveness and lift sometimes by the end of the year. Embiid has never really made it through a full year without running out of gas, and Lebron is 41.
