What's the latest on Parson's injury? Is it still being termed as life threatening career threatening? I can try and acquire some second rounders to send your way if you're looking to move him. Act fast!

@Birdman

There will always be people who will say they could've offered you a better deal after a trade is completed. Ignore the sour grapes.

I think its a fair return for both sides.
I think it's fair return too.  That's about what I'd expect a 40fp all-star to fetch...  middle-tier 1sts.   Glad everyone agrees.

Sour grapes as usual.

I'm sure your offer of Disciples 2016 first and multiple second rounders aka first round picks in NBA was a lot better.

Don't cry every time you lose out on a trade.

Apparently you had a better offer for Dragic as well. But yet he is on GC's team now.

If you want to acquire a player...offer something better than a combo of Biyombo and some second rounders. Perhaps then you will find a GM with an attentive ear.

Lol... for all the chatter about how I lowball people, I can just drop a bomb on that myth right now.

Who is more valuable, in your opinion?  29 year old Al Horford and his history of injuries (averaged 37fp last season in 76 games)... or Marc Gasol, who is a year older but has one less NBA season on his resume)... and averaged 40.41fp in 81 healthy games this year?

Gasol is probably more valuable, right?   At worse, you'd say they were even.

Here's what I gave up for 37fp injury-plagued Al Horford this season:

#7
#9
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (22 years old = 22FP)

Here's what 41fp healthy Marc Gasol just fetched:

#12
#16
Kosta Koufas (26 year old = 16FP)

Further proof that I have a history of dramatically overpaying for talent and yet get a reputation to the contrary.

I'm glad everyone agrees that Gasol is worth a couple mid 1sts.   Kudos to anyone who engages in good-faith trade discussions with the Leprechauns... there's a proven track-record that you'll get more than what another team will give you.

Think about that when I start offering up MMSB and the Disciples Top 5 projected 2016 1sts.

Yup, you always offer to "overpay". I wonder why every other GM in this league is not queuing up to trade with you? Your office's door must be about to come off its hinges with all the vicious knocks. ::)

Quite a few GMs have posted your trade negotiation "conversation" in this thread. I don't want to re-post them. Perhaps you can go back and read those.

I heard the latest on Parsons is they had to amputate his leg. But don't worry Embiid is the picture of health

Actually, I have about 3 trades I'm close to pulling the trigger on.   Hold onto your butts.

And fwiw...

Who you bettin against?   Rondo2287 just added a couple superstars.  My team has an influx of 5 guys who will improve it.    Lucky Strikes is adding 3 of the top 10 picks (5, 7 and 9) this year.  MMSB is adding #15.   Disciples is adding Shved and Bennett.  Webskins added multiple all-stars at the end of last year.   Brahma Bull added 4 guys who average 40+fp last year.  Kwhit added LeBron James.   Who you bettin against?

Scoff at my 2016 1sts.  I see a couple top 5 picks there.  I wouldn't trade either one of those picks for a package of #12, #16 and Koufas.  Whoever gets those draft picks out of me this summer is going to be getting pure lottery gold.

Oh please. I have seen you talk out of your ass more than I have seen the sun come up.

Biyombo = worth a lottery pick.

Anthony Bennett = going to be a stud

Parson gets injured = potential career ending injury

Joem Embiid's setback = conspiracy by Philly's front office.

Noah = career is about to end

Corey Joesph = worth a lottery pick

Give it a rest!

Lol. Its true if you believe Chad Buick. His source is a well connected GM who often likes to overpay in his trades.

I heard he went to his own funeral on Friday and gave the eulogy. Joel Embiid did backflips up the aisle to lay flowers on the casket.

I think we should post this in the Yahoo league when the season starts, as part of a guide to new GMs

Right... and other GMs don't do this, right?  You just sent me a message saying Dario Saric is on the same level as Andrew Wiggins, Towns, Okafor and Jabari Parker.   Eja thinks his 2016 #21 pick is worth Jabari Parker.    When I reached out about LaMarcus Aldridge, Birdman asked for Julius Randle, Khris Middleton, Otto Porter jr and Jrue Holiday.

Your sarcasm meter is broken.

Before you roll your eyes, realise that all of those offers are similar to what you've been peddling all this while and later calling yourself a bullying victim when others get p---ed off with your consistent barrage of pathetic offers via PMs and emails.

BFM, mostly it's just a misunderstanding about the value of my prospects.  I assume it happens every year with draftoverhypeitus... people overreact to the prospects in the draft and sell themselves on mid 1sts turning into superstars.  Then a couple months into the season when it's clear that only a couple guys in the entire draft are worth any salt, suddenly dudes taken in the top 10 like Aaron Gordon, Dante Exum, and Julius Randle are "worthless".   It's a funny cycle.

And you're right... the offers I receive are pretty consistently worse than the offers I make.  But I don't come on here and try to boycott members for trying to squeeze an overpay out of me.  Typically, they succeed in squeezing it out of me.

You forgot to mention that I didn't send you any offers , what you just posted was my response to your unsolicited offer of Biyombo for Saric , which I found insulting considering I have repeatedly told you I'm not looking to trade Saric whom I gave up a top 2 pick to land, and I've made my feeling on Biymbo clear all across celticsblog forums

I dont' mind that you're overvaluing Saric.  It's fine.  My point is that everyone does it.

Biyombo is going to outplay at least 75% of this draft.   It is what it is.
