@Birdman
There will always be people who will say they could've offered you a better deal after a trade is completed. Ignore the sour grapes.
I think its a fair return for both sides.
I think it's fair return too. That's about what I'd expect a 40fp all-star to fetch... middle-tier 1sts. Glad everyone agrees.
Sour grapes as usual.
I'm sure your offer of Disciples 2016 first and multiple second rounders aka first round picks in NBA was a lot better.
Don't cry every time you lose out on a trade.
Apparently you had a better offer for Dragic as well. But yet he is on GC's team now.
If you want to acquire a player...offer something better than a combo of Biyombo and some second rounders. Perhaps then you will find a GM with an attentive ear.
Lol... for all the chatter about how I lowball people, I can just drop a bomb on that myth right now.
Who is more valuable, in your opinion? 29 year old Al Horford and his history of injuries (averaged 37fp last season in 76 games)... or Marc Gasol, who is a year older but has one less NBA season on his resume)... and averaged 40.41fp in 81 healthy games this year?
Gasol is probably more valuable, right? At worse, you'd say they were even.
Here's what I gave up for 37fp injury-plagued Al Horford this season:
#7
#9
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (22 years old = 22FP)Here's what 41fp healthy Marc Gasol just fetched:
#12
#16
Kosta Koufas (26 year old = 16FP)Further proof that I have a history of dramatically overpaying for talent and yet get a reputation to the contrary.
I'm glad everyone agrees that Gasol is worth a couple mid 1sts. Kudos to anyone who engages in good-faith trade discussions with the Leprechauns... there's a proven track-record that you'll get more than what another team will give you.
Think about that when I start offering up MMSB and the Disciples Top 5 projected 2016 1sts.
