look guys,

Defending myself in this forum is taking up too much of my time.  This is a fantasy basketball league. It's supposed to be fun.  It's stopped being fun for me lately.

I feel bullied.  Each time I see it, I feel compelled to respond. I was already leaning towards this being my final season.  It's become a problem.  I ask that we just end this drama now and move on.  I'd prefer sticking around and seeing how my young team performs.   I reached out to BrianY and if he decides it's best for me to leave, I will.   I understand that's what a lot of you guys want, so this is probably your opportunity to let him know.  It was fun, though fellas.   Sorry it got out of hand.  I recognize I hold a lot of responsibility for that.

This is my last comment on the matter.  I'll wait for the commish to weigh in and ask that you do the same.

My preference is for you to stay and see your team through , you deserve it after building it. Just please stop the drama and manipulated stories about trade offers , treat guys with the basic respect you would hope they treat you with. That's it. When we do that, the league is great.

His only offer to me was Aldridge for Middleton, holiday, randle and Porter jr.   I repeatedly told him I didn't want to engage in a bidding war against myself and consistently asked him what he wanted in a deal.

I'll let Birdman answer it this time but you're again coming up with a lie. A blatant lie.

Quote
Likely to increase your bid   You should be pleased that I didn't offer him what I considered  actually giving up at one point:  embiid and #2... Because it kept you and your middling assets in the hunt.

Again, Mr. Assumption, I didn't make a play for Gasol or Dragic or Aldridge while you were throwing **** on the wall hoping it would stick. But as usual, you run with your me vs the bad eggs narrative. Not surprised. Just makes me feel better that I posted what I did. You lie and you misquote and you twist words to suit your public comments.

Quote
Again, context is everything.  I was accused, once again, of low balling.

Yup, lowball should be your middle name. And I'm not ashamed to say it.

Quote
I'm no longer trying to trade for alridge or saric... So if you can offer TB more than wiggins and can offer birdman more than 4 allstar players, good for you, good for tb, and good for birdman.

Stop assuming. And stop portraying yourself as a bullying victim. You're not. What you are is someone who lies to gain the upper hand in public debates. And when you get called out, you throw out the "woah-is-me" crap.

Quote
Accuse me of low balling by publicly sharing my negotiations for weeks. (Ugh he offered me biyombo!!).

You are just as responsible. Don't make up offers and then associate them to another GM and no one will call you out. And once a GM asks you not to send offers involving a player or just offers in general, respect their wishes.

Quote
The angry little mob responds by saying "here's what he offered me too!!"... The mob continues by saying "we should send all of those to new users so they are warned about larbrd33"
If you can prove this, prove it, otherwise its just another lie.

Quote
TL;DR:  I am, in-fact, being bullied here. Frankly, I'm sick of it and I've lost my patience. When I fight back by pointing out that you people send me the same "terrible" offers I send you, I'm bullied even more for it.  Go back several pages and you'll see dozens of posts sharing my private trade negotiations.

If you say one thing in private and then say something completely different in a public forum, people have the right to call you out. If you keep sending pathetic offers and people ask you to stop, they have the right to call you out if you ignore their requests. Mk is not one of the "bed eggs" according to you but even he posted the way you negotiate or rather choose to ignore people's wishes and continue with "so...yeah...how about that second rounder" crap. Its your fault if you can't respect someone's wishes and then you get called out. If that's bullying, then so be it. Or one could say that you're bullying others by consistently ignoring their requests and bombarding them with the same crap via PMs when they have specifically asked you not to do so.

What 4 allstars did Birdman ask for in exchange for Aldridge?
I offer more than Aldridge and it was 3 for 3 proposal not 1 for 4..nuff said...now lets get back to business folks and no more drama

I woke up to two pages of hate and lies about my team from some hypocrits who engage in the same behavior.

Yet, you have ignored all the evidence and continued with your "everybody hates Chris LarBrd33"  story.

Are we really gonna just revive some different version of this argument over-and-over or is there some chance y'all might find some way to either work it out or cool it?

this is only mildly rhetorical... i'm wondering what the end game here is.
As far as I can tell, the goal is to eliminate me as a competitor.  If my team was filled with garbage, I doubt I'd be fending off vultures right now.

If you lie, manipulate, misinterpret and disrespect others consistently, then it doesn't matter if you have 16 LeBrons on your team or 16 Biyombos/Stauskas on your team. The outcome would be the same.

Happy to move on, but I woke up to two pages of hate and lies about my team from some hypocrits who engage in the same behavior.  I've posted my response. I'll leave it at that.

So just to be clear, by 4 all stars you mean 3 players who are not allstars and one player who is two injured seasons removed from being an allstar

He is still an all star. Once an all-star, always an all-star. You gotta believe. Where is the faith?!?

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Lou Williams Tor - PG,SG
Kyle Lowry Tor - PG
Kemba Walker Cha - PG,SG
Randy Foye Den - PG,SG
Paul Pierce Was - SF,PF
Giannis Antetokounmpo Mil - SG,SF,PF
Nene Hilario Was - PF,C
Dwight Howard Hou - PF,C
Channing Frye Orl - PF,C
Meyers Leonard Por - PF,C
Marcin Gortat Was - C
Larry Sanders Mil - PF,C
Joakim Noah Chi - PF,C
Bruno Caboclo Tor - SF
Spencer Hawes LAC - PF,C
Nikola Pekovic Min - C

#11, #31, and #37 as well. I need PG/SG help so while I'm willing to move Lowry or Kemba I'd need PG/SGs in return. The dried up husk of Paul Pierce is available, but you're going to have to pay the All-Star premium to get him (two extra sips of your soda at the mall food court). Pekovic, Frye, Hawes, maybe Gortat are my most available guys. Shoot me an offer, but keep in mind I'm pretty bad at countering.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.
