Amir Johnson next to Noah? Oh man... Washington you've done well.

Thanks. I will admit to getting help from the guy below:

I think Cleveland might have you both beat right now.

I had Cleveland in my top 4 too.  I concede nothing, however.

They were teammates LMA's rookie year, and in part the trade that sent Randolph to New York was done to open up a starting role.

"If they wanted me to be where I am today, we couldn't play together," Aldridge said. "Because he's a four and I am too, and it wouldn't work out."

Lol well all I can say is playing a season next to the guys he did this years makes you rethinks things. It's also good that LA played center alot last year bc that's what he's playing with ZBO, the 5.

You have to give me more than that. I found an actual quote from Aldridge about Randolph, acknowledging that they couldn't comfortably co-exist - and he's the less difficult one.

Aldridge is saying that he wouldn't have been able to become the player he is today if Portland hadn't of traded Zach Randolph at that time. Because he wouldn't have had the playing time he needed to grow.

A lot like Kanter and Favors needed Big Al and/or Millsap to leave in order to free up enough playing time and responsibility within the team for them to grow properly.

I'm sure Randolph believes he's better than Aldridge.

Me too. But I think Z.Randolph will have enough respect for Aldridge that he would be willing to accept it. Not for a role player like Ryan Anderson or Amir Johnson but for an All-Star caliber PF/C like Aldridge, I think Z-Bo can make his peace with that. He won't be jumping for joy about it or anything but I think he would accept it.

I also think if Z-Bo was younger it would be a much bigger difference. Not just because of maturity but because at 25-28 years old (or younger), Z-Bo's own ambition to prove himself in the league would be too much for him to accept a 6th man role over a lengthily period of time.

But at 32 years of age, having a taste of the playoffs, having real major talents around him that give him a chance at winning + with no loss to pay-packet ... I believe Z-Bo accepts that bench role.

Agree with all of the above. At 32 and, as who said, no loss to pay pocket, I think ZBo is good if it means he can win. He will still play plenty of minutes.

I'd have it slightly differently

Conley > Holiday (inc) Nobody
Iggy >> Green >< Redick
George >> Granger >< Marion
Love > Lee > Anderson
Chandler > Okafor >< McGee

Having Thad Young (a player I really like) offsets thing at PG (tentatively).

Paul George is still the best player on either of the teams.  Granger is a bit closer (but gets docked for injuries).  I refuse to give a pass to players with his injury history.

So my favorite pick of the round was Thabo Sefolosha.

Getting him with the 3rd to last pick in the 5th round is great value.  I had him as an end of 4th round pick.

Agreed, nice pick. I was going to take him at the end of the fifth, but you forced my hand on Bradley.

I was wondering what people's thoughts were on Dallas?

A 2 guard who can score and play off ball. Then Big man depth. Then guard depth. Your Forward depth is nice. Shooting is always good too.

Dallas Mavs

Love: Parker
Like: Faried, Gallo, Big V, AK-47
Meh: Overall fit, no SG (yet)

Offensively you won't have too much problem.  Parker is world-class (although I have him just outside top 10).  Gallo and Faried should be a nice complement as well.  Faried will be the garbage man, which is a great player to have with Parker/Gallo.  Big V can score in the post, which will only serve to bolster the "O".

Defensively, I"m not in love, which is why I question the fit.  AK-47 is nice player to have come in off the bench, but you'll struggle to reasonably guard the  positions where the best scorers play.  SG will be tough for you.  You also need to get a high level defender somewhere.

One of my favourite picks too.

I would have had Thabo rated as a late 3rd, early 4th. Love Thabo.

Thabo is in the ----- ------ "no stats all star" bracket for me. One of those guys who has a huge influence on winning games without putting up big numbers.

Mmmm ...

PG - LeBron (defending SFs)
SG - Monta (defending PGs)
SF - Thabo (defending SGs)
PF - Ibaka
 C - D.Jordan

That would have been very nice.

Looking at my list I sent to Nick, I had Thabo 9th in the 4th round.  So I actually did have him closer to the range Who states.

If I didn't get Redick, Thabo was my next choice at SG.

He really is that much of a "glue" player.

By the way, Nick deserves some TPs for his work.
