I was wondering what people's thoughts were on Dallas?
I would start Kirilenko at PF and bring Faried off the bench as an energy/hustle guy.

PG - Tony Parker
SG -
SF - Gallinari
PF - Kirilenko
 C - Valanciunas

I think Kirilenko's superior ball-handling, passing, shot-creation and jump-shooting gives your lineup a much more balanced and dangerous offensive lineup.

Kirilenko is also still a very intelligent and active team defender who is more reliable and easier to play alongside (defensively) than Faried is so I think AK-47 helps you out considerably on that end of the floor too.

I really liked the Valanciunas draft pick. I think he is going to take a large step forward next season. Showed some very good signs last year with his post game and short to midrange jump shot. Just needed some time to find his feet in this league and improve his body and I think he has made major steps with regards to both this off-season.

Tony Parker is fantastic. He was the best PG in the league last year.

Gallinari is a tough one. Injured and expected to miss half the season I believe. Rough. I love his game when healthy. A very dangerous offensive threat and an under-rated defender (being 6-10 really helps him be effective despite dodgy quickness).

Not a big Faried guy but I think he would be a great 6th man. And if you decide to start him and use AK-47 as 6th man instead, I think Kirilenko would make an excellent sixth man too. So either way you have a major difference maker off the bench.

I think Jonas with his midrange jump-shot will help open things up a bit for Faried offensively but I don't expect Jonas to be a frequent / prolific enough jump-shooter to make up for Faried's lack of offensive skill completely. Just a little bit. I also think Jonas will take a good step forward defensively now that he has a year's experience under his belt and that he will work well with Faried on that end too. A good match.

I also think Jonas will do well in the PnR game with Tony Parker. And with Gallo, AK-47 and to-be-selected SG, I think you will have good floor spacers and dribble drive threats to attack off TP's kickouts in the PnR.

I think this is a much stronger team than it might look at first appearance. And might end up being under-rated as a result. Well, once Gallo gets healthy.

I'm open to any thoughts on Milwaukee.  I do see some needs still.

This is an interesting angle, and one that is worth some thought.

Kirilenko would aid the bench more offensively, but would improve the "D" in the starting lineup.

This is my favorite team...no joke.

Add some front court depth/toughness and another guard/wing player and you are in good shape in my eyes.

Wanna know an odd fact about Monta Ellis?

Among starting SG's last year, he had the 4th highest defensive win shares.  Ahead of Green, Iggy and Sefolosha (per bball reference).

You act like I don't already know this  ;)

My team is a tenacious defensive squad. They do have weaknesses however, but I have a handful of players to fill roles to patch those holes in the coming rounds.

As far as your team is concerned, I'll run down position by position.

Conley: one of my favorite guards since his days at OSU. Great outside shooter, quiet leader/ball handler/great defensive instincts

Redick: sniper and not as bad defensive end as one would think, though you likely are planning to supplement him in that department

George: burgeoning star who can do it all. 3 pt shooter, slasher, defender

Anderson: elite shooting big man from 3 and mid range and solid rebounder

Emeka: I am a UConn fan - so I'm likely biased - but he was one of the best college basketball players I have ever watched at UConn. Extremely intelligent, good defender, good rebounder and a perfect fit for your team. I considered taking Monta at 4.1 (instead I took Jordan) and then targeting one of Jordan/Okafor in the fifth. My thought was that each of them were the two best big men for me team and that I could get other guards later in the draft (big men were essential given the outlook in the West). Even though I love Emeka's smarts, I liked Jordan's athleticism with my fast break team. I'm bummed he isn't on my team, but he is a perfect for for yours.

Add to the fact that I have J.R Smith coming off the bench and have 2 6th rounders to fill out most of my bench.

Sad to see that Chicago trade. They had one of my favorite cores.

Nitpicking, but IMO Redick > Green.

Also remember how many times people said I'm too deep in the DKC? Same thing could happen to you here. Star power often wins out though, so I'd take LMA over what you've got now.

I'm sorry Roy, I really didn't know how good my team was so I decided to shop offers and personally I thought it was a great offer, but it all comes down to how people look at players.

I would rather have people not talking about my team than talking about them because I lost significant talent in a "trade down in value" trade. You can always get them to talk about your team later on.

And as IP wisely stated, and he should know given he's been to like the last 3 or 4 straight Finals in this game, trading a 3 for  three 1's is not equal value. Trading down 20 spots in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd round does not equal trading up two rounds from the 6th, 7th or 8th rounds. It just doesn't, especially around where the middle of talent tiers.

That's how I did my Big Board pre-draft when I was playing. I made tiers and then saw where the cut offs looked like they were going to fall and tried to work trades moving up in tiers, not rounds. There's a big difference when you do that.
Dang....You don't have kids do you? If you do you only have one!!!

TP for all that work and the work your doing now!
Three kids, but they are all men now and probably older than a bunch of people GMing in this draft.
I have four 7 years old and younger.... So I am still running in circles and my time is almost ALL their time, but it's all worth it!
L.A. Clippers
Derrick Rose Blake Griffin 4.11 5.3 5.15 6.11 7.15 8.11 9.15 10.11 11.15 12.11 13.15

I still have 3 all stars, but like how I've said before it is what it is the trade is done and this is not my full team so we will see what happens from here on out.

As for Redick>Green call me when Redick blocks LeBron twice in a playoff series. Green's defense is extremely underrated and he doesn't have the fanciest stats, but that might have to do with the fact that his team went to the Finals.
