Minnesota looking strong for best defensive team in the league.

True but then again you have two undersized guards (one better at D than the other) who will have trouble against the Joe Johnson's, D wade's, Deron William's, etc.

3-5 I really like, not sold on the 1 and 2 but solid still.

I like my Knicks on defense as well. With the exception of Martin...Rondo, Lopez, and Sanders provides a great defensive squad with dual rim protectors. Through Harkless athleticism and wing span in the mix and thats an athletic defensive unit.

Joe Johnson I agree with. I still need a wing defender who is between 6'5" and 6'9" to guard those type of players. Ellis and Bradley can definitely hold their own against Wade and Williams though. Ellis is 6'3" and Bradley is 6'2". Wade and Williams are more sturdily built, but thats why I have James, Ibaka, and Jordan guarding the paint.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Speaking of, would love to take feedback, suggestions, and criticism on the Knicks squad through round 5 and the first week of drafting...

PG: Rondo
SG: Martin
SF: Harkless
PF: Sanders
C:  Lopez

Strengths: Defensive, especially in the front court. Rebounding. Smart PG who can feed the ball where people need it.

Weakness: Outside shooting, and floor spacing.

Have at it please folks!

A feedback for a feedback?

But then again, you already said what I'm going to. I just want to add a few snippets.

I agree about the Harkless pick, I thought you should have went with the other guy. Your bigs are also tremendous, but I worry that they may end up in foul trouble most of the times as your wings are not able to hold their man one on one.

Fair enough. I agree.

Feedback for feedback...You're stacked brah.

PG Lillard, Lowry
SG
SF Chandler
PF Varejo, Landry
C Bogut, Monroe

I definitely see a jogjam up front but a pretty deadly 4 man bigs rotation. I've never been as high on Chandler as most same can be said with Lowry.

You've set yourself up nicely to make trades with a couple of your big names to net a SG and a 6th man. Gotta find a lot of scoring and a shooter to round out what you've got going on IMO.

I don't mind the logjam. If Landry plays less than 20 minutes so be it, but that means Bogut and Varejao are playing the minutes instead of him, which means they are healthy, which means they are ultra productive.

Landry is a very good insurance policy in case the voters use the "injury card". I have a starter level talent to plug in incase either of the two miss some games (according to voters) and not lose a ton of production.

Wilson has star talent, very underrated. And I agree with you with Lowry, not really high on him, as a starter. But off the bench, tremendous player.

From an entertainment standpoint, certainly one of the best teams to watch play.

How it translates into Ws & Ls? I'm not sure yet.

LOL, best line of the day.

So funny because it's chances of it could be true are highly likely.

Haha. True. Just a real life picture of him playing tight D though. He will get his shots - don't worry Monta.
