Kyle Lowry, Carl Landry, Anderson Varejao.

That's a pretty solid core of players, may not make the playoffs but would make it tough for other teams when they play 'em.

Oh wait, they're in the 2nd unit!? Those level of talent, off the bench!?

The talent is there, but you probably are the only team in the history of the CB draft that needs a starting quality third string center.

Some people said it was not possible, but I was finally able to make a trade.  8) (Hate the fact that I'm off to a slow start.

I think he can get away with Monroe and Landry if he had more outside talent.  (the type that was already selected)

A ton of great value picks today but that Mo Harkless one, yeah, that wasn't one of them.

Top 70 player in the league at 20 years old and round 5. I'll take that anyday.

Minnesota has some time left but for now, the Big Board, Eligible Players, Trades and Rosters posts on the first page should be up to date, Please check and PM me any corrections I need to make.

The Coaches Round is now open and BOSTON can go ahead and select their coach anytime they want to. Just please, PM the next GM to select and let them know it is their turn.

A "How's My CB Draft Team?" thread will be opening later tonight

I have one trade in the office awaiting confirmation. I do have a life so I will be in and out all weekend and will process trades when I show up but until then, be patient and remember only one trade into the office per team at a time. Once processed and announced, you can send in another.

Disagree completely.

Bogut played well after his ankle is "80%" healed. Varejao was playing hurt and still managed to put up ridiculous numbers until the blood clot, which should not affect his basketball play as he comes back.

That's two starting Centers, one playing on an All Star level and coming off the bench. I don't see why the need of another "starter" quality. It's highly unlikely that both of them will miss a significant amount of games at the same time. And even if one of them misses some time, I got Carl Landry, starting level PF.

Landry's a better fit on Cleveland, where he'd get 30+ minutes a night and start when KG was out.

I  must be missing something.

Bad outside shooting.

His team was better offensively and defensively when he was off the floor.

Let's just say I differ greatly on the opinion that he is a top 70 player in this league. Damian Lillard isn't a top 70 player in this league, IMHO and he won ROY last year, the same year Harkless was a rookie.

With the final pick of the 5th round - the Minnesota Timberwolves select Avery Bradley.

Note: The no-name rule is not in violation since Harden was taken long ago  ;)

President/GM McHP Quote: "We are happy to select Avery Bradley and we welcome him to the team. His tenacious defensive attitude will allow him to mesh well with this team that thrives on defensive pressure and fast break offense. Just one season ago Avery shot nearly 50% from the field and 40% from three-point range and we are confident that he has regained his health and will return to form. He has the ability to apply extreme ball pressure which can minimize the shot clock for the opposing offense. With that being said, welcome to Minnesota, Avery."

And Landry solves the injury argument the voters have on Bogut and Andy.

"What if Bogut miss games?" I got Carl Landry.

"What if Varejao miss games?" I got Carl Landry.

"What if they both miss games?" Highly unlikely but still, got Carl Landry.

"What if they both stay healthy?" Well, that's too bad for the other teams.

Come at me now with the injuries! Bwa ha ha ha

It was either take Gerald Wallace and bank on a change of scenary jump starting his crash bones. Or take the young potential in Harkless who came on strong at the end of last season on a terrible Magic team.

I went with the young potential. Team isn't done making moves.
