For once, I think Sherrod makes a good point:

A. Sherrod Blakely ‏@SherrodbCSN 20m

A more likely #Nets, #Celtics deal? Pierce for Humphries+future 1st rd pick.KG no-trade clause+GWallace contract are potential deal killers.

I'd say PP for Humphries, Teletovic and a 1st would get it done -- sadly.

I think I prefer PP for trade exemption and two 2nd rounders....

I agree rather have the TE and picks 31 and 33

Agreed, if available. And especially if Jeff Whitley is available at that 31st pick.

I don't like what the nets have to offer. Humphries expiring might be valuable but I'd rather see Pierce play through than watch humphries in green. I've always loved crash but his contract is far too big and he doesn't have what he did for those few years. I don't see anything else on the nets roster that's appealing to
Me.

Cleveland wouldn't trade for Pierce if he was going to not report or be unhappy though.

read an update that the third player is marshon brooks.  does that make it more palatable?  me, yes.

The Boston-Brooklyn discussions for Garnett and Pierce are serious, several team sources tell Y! "Deal could get even bigger," source says.

Woj's latest that the deal could get bigger, sure it'd have to for Boston to agree isn't taking Wallace back for just the Nets picks.

The deal could get bigger, as in more players going between Boston and Brooklyn.

The Celtics are discussing the possibility of including either guard Jason Terry or Courtney Lee in the package, sources tell Y! Sports

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Eh.... Is there still a way we can grab Josh Smith or is that not feasible?

.... seriously?

It's called rebuilding.  With that come change.  I don't like the idea either in a lot of ways but change is inevitable.  Adapt or die.

Shengelia seems more exciting than Brooks, but if a deal is done, Ainge should be asking for all of Shengelia, Teletovic, and Brooks in addition to draft picks.  Maybe even get CJ Watson to play the point while Rondo recovers at the start of the season.

Wojo pointing out that he didn't mean third team, just more players changing hands.

Dare I say this might work for the Cs, especially if they're getting those picks...
