Good.  I'm pretty fatalistic about trades and stuff because I don't have any control, but if Doc and KG are gonna be traded, we need to get more than what was being offered.

If Paul puts pressure on them to make the deal happen, great.  If not, great.  We'll find a better deal or KG and hopefully Pierce can retire in green.  Fine with me.

Multiple reports coming out that Clips called deal off. GOOD!

Sounds good to me.  Hopefully CP3 calls their bluff.

what "bluff" are you talking about? sounds like the celtics were just asking too much for a 1 year rental kg (37 year old kg, btw) and a coach. the clipper called the celtics bluff.

The bluff where the Clippers are taking it for granted that CP3 will re-sign, and decide to get pennywise about landing him some impact help.

Yeah the Clippers habe a chance to be a legit title contender and lock up CP3

We are rebuilding either way and really doesn't speed up the process or help thatbmuch with this trade.

The Clippers are the ones that needed to make this trade not us imo

lol that's their value, why the hell would they give more than they need to? So boston can be happy? you guys are so used to get the better end of the deal, but when someone tries the same tactic on you ya'll cry about it

As Gary Dzen put it, if you're sending out the best player in a trade along with your top-flight head coach and the other team isn't willing to give you any sweeteners other than a late first, you have to walk away.

I feel like the Clips will fold, though.  This will not go over well with CP3.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Fine with this, fine with walking away if the otherside isn't going to move off the initial bid.

You sure do seem upset for someone who's been so adamant about not caring if the deal goes through.

Look on the bright side, nobody can ever take that division championship away, and they only give out 6 of those every year.  Good times.

This is why the Clippers, deep down, will always be the laughing stock of the NBA.

Well, that´s probably a good thing.

Jordan and a pick just isn´t enough. I would have been ok with two picks, the Clippers fans are mostly ok with two picks from what I can tell, but the Clippers FO have to be pennywise.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

the clippers have alot of options, and were going to sign shaw or hollins before this little fiasco happened. it was just a side track for the clipps, they're back to where they were a couple of days ago
