Multiple reports coming out that Clips called deal off. GOOD!

I know seriously.

Its laughable that 2 crappy picks was askig too much.

Clippers playing the media the whole time and media eating it up because they would LOVE to see KG and Doc in LA bringing thatvteam to real contention

With the rumor out there that KG would potentially play for the Clippers with CP3 there even if Doc stays, I wonder if the C's can step back and start shopping him to other contenders.

Maybe this is just the way the media has painted it, but to me it seems like LAC is the only option for a trade of KG. We need to show them, that isn't the case to regain the upper hand in the negotiations.

How do you get around KG's no-trade clause, which was given to him pretty much for the purpose of letting him control where he went if traded?

This is just me speculating but wouldn't Garnett have interest in playing in Chicago?

It was reported before that the only place other than Boston that Garnett would be interested in playing is LA so that he can be close to his family.  Maybe his mind could be changed with intense lobbying, maybe not.

Sounds good to me.  Hopefully CP3 calls their bluff.

what "bluff" are you talking about? sounds like the celtics were just asking too much for a 1 year rental kg (37 year old kg, btw) and a coach. the clipper called the celtics bluff.

The bluff where the Clippers are taking it for granted that CP3 will re-sign, and decide to get pennywise about landing him some impact help.

The Celtics had nothing to lose.  (except of course if they actually made this trade)

The Clippers are trying to keep Paul from leaving.
